Lindsay Lohan spent the weekend shopping her way through NYC. She may not have many acting gigs lined up right now, but she's still managed to keep her face all over the magazines, from Glamour to Paper to New York Magazine. Most of you don't think that LL deserves to be a cover girl, but the NY Times ran an article over the weekend, discussing how posing for fashion magazines can help stars save face after scandal. After working hard this week on My Sister's Keeper, Cameron Diaz spent Saturday night partying at Villa in Hollywood. It seems like she had a pretty good time since she left being escorted out by a club employee around 2 a.m. We love that Cameron isn't one to shy away from a good time even when she's spending her days hard at work. Somehow she seems to balance it all so well while still looking effortlessly fabulous. Pretty soon she'll be busy promoting What Happens in Vegas before its release on May 9 and as usual, we can't wait to see what she'll wear.
Married Life: Original, Well-Acted But Low-Impact There are a lot of things I like about Married Life, a character-driven dramedy starring some seriously heavy-hitting actors. It's incredibly dark, but ends on a sweet and uplifting note. The actors are phenomenal. The costumes and 1940s atmosphere easily sweep us away to a different time period when a night on the town was dancing, nightcaps and movie tickets purchased with a coin or two.
Angelina Jolie was back in black and baby bump baring stopping by Barnes & Noble this morning. How's that for a little alliteration! Fun! She dropped Maddox off at school before hitting up the bookstore — the mom-to-be was looking good but not as luscious and flowy as in that pink dress. No one can seem to decide where — France! Texas! — the Jolie-Pitts are planning on welcoming their new addition, but I'm sure we'll see soon enough. Until then, pregnancy looks good (again) on Angie, right?
Jessica Simpson proved she can look hot even in camouflage (with the help of those Daisy Dukes) while meeting some of the troops over in Kuwait today. The men looked pretty psyched to have their picture taken with the pop star, and they're probably even more excited to see her take the stage when she performs with the Pussycat Dolls for an Operation MySpace concert today. As for Jess, she said, "I can't wait to get up there and have fun with everybody." Sounds like a great time all around, so maybe Jessica's good-doing can overshadow those unnecessary diva rumors.

Jamie Spears is due in court this morning to argue with Kevin's lawyers about overcharging Brit for legal fees, but you wouldn't know anything was acrimonious between the men by their weekend activity. Britney's dad and K Fed hit the links in Tarzana on Saturday — kind of a funny picture-perfect scene, right? I'm sure that Britney knew about the meeting while she was out shopping and dancing, so I don't suspect any foul play. Just a couple of guys taking a break from an extremely stressful ongoing situation before one of them accuses the other of unnecessarily charging his daughter for $500,000 in legal bills (and a $600,000 bill from Brit's former attorney). Jamie will also be there to discuss Britney's mental health and his conservatorship, which has been extended through the end of July but might not last that long. I can see why a quiet afternoon golfing was in order pre-court. Also, Kevin is not looking nearly as hefty as those photos last week, maybe that was just an unflattering shirt?
