Jessica Simpson was escorted to the Waverly Inn last night by her fun and fearless male of the moment, Tony Romo. Jessica looked chic even in her minimalist makeup, while Tony kept it typically casual. Tony was the first to admit that dating Jessica Simpson may have had something to do with making the Cosmopolitan list, but apparently Tony would rather gush about his girl's album than his admirable qualities. At yesterday's event he told People:
On Jessica's new album: "She's working hard. She's doing a great job, and I'm really excited about the way it sounds. It sounds real good. I'm excited."
On if Jess would call him fun and fearless: "Yeah, sure. Though we don't usually have conversations about how fun and fearless I am, but I'm a pretty fun guy. I joke a lot. "
Guess Tony didn't want to elaborate on the fearless aspect, but maybe that's where his football career comes in. As for loving Jessica's country album, it sounds like these two just might be a match made in Texan heaven.

Lindsay Lohan ducked out of Hyde last night with her two favorite accessories: a bottle of water and a new man friend. Her hard-partying ways seem to have taken a turn for the more obvious in 2008, and her antics are back to being fairly bizarre, like this Thursday's photo exhibit about her tattoos. While it's hard enough to watch her get back into bad habits from afar, we have a much more up close and personal look into the Lohan family coming soon. Dina's ill-conceived reality TV show has a name, Living Lohan, and is officially due to premiere this summer. A statement from E! says:
"The Lohans are one of the most intriguing families in the entertainment industry today . . . This is a family that knows how to roll with the punches and come out on top. Dina is an incredibly hard-working, passionate mom that I think our viewers will find both relatable and highly entertaining.”
The show will focus on Dina helping Ali launch her singing and acting career but will also star all the other Lohan children. While Dina has expressed her hopes that Lindsay be on the show (of course, her biggest little star!) I certainly wouldn't blame LL for staying as far away from those cameras as possible. So — who's excited for Living Lohan?
Soccer brought David Beckham to Shanghai, but sports aren't the only thing he's got on his mind. Yesterday he found the time to make a very special trip to the Xinhua hospital to visit with the sick children there. Those big smiles on Becks and the kids are totally making our hearts melt. Sadly for David, there was one kid who'll be missing him today — it's Brooklyn's ninth birthday, but he'll have to wait until his dad gets back to the States for celebratory hugs and gifts. Definitely a bummer, but we have a feeling David and Posh will find a way to make it up to him.
Rachel Zoe was photographed walking down Robertson, Starbucks in hand, looking ready for some serious shopping. She looked chic in her round sunglasses and Chanel bag, which she wore with of-the-moment thigh-high boots, a denim Current/Elliott biker jacket, and printed scarf.
