Gillian Anderson was looking great with costar (and always a favorite) David Duchovny at some geek convention this weekend in San Francisco. They debuted a teaser trailer for the second X-Files movie, and while it took long enough to get these guys back together, we will patiently wait to see Scully and Mulder reunite. It's a bonus that one of our favorite small screen shows can produce big screen blockbusters, and we're counting down the days until its release on July 25. Hopefully the movie will coincide with the return of DD on the small screen in Californication (my favorite new show last Summer). Double Duchovny!

Kate Winslet didn't seem too bothered about skipping the Oscars as she went for a stroll in NYC on Sunday. She's been hard at work on The Reader with Ralph Fiennes, the role she took over after Nicole Kidman dropped out. Next up for Kate is voicing the character of Juliet in Gnomeo and Juliet, an updated and animated version of the Shakespeare story with a little twist — it's about garden gnomes. Um, if anyone can pull it off it's definitely Kate? Really though, we're all just sitting tight until the fall when we get to see her back on the big screen with Leo. Swoon.

While some of the bigger Oscar parties were cancelled this year, Hollywood still found lots of ways to celebrate after the big show. The cast of No Country For Old Men looked like they were having a blast at the Miramax soirée, especially Josh Brolin and Diane Lane who were one of the cutest couples of the night. Elsewhere at the same party, fresh from his Kimmel appearance Ben Affleck caught up with Casey to share a laugh. Jen may not have been much for partying after her much talked about red carpet run in with Busey. Eva Longoria didn't score an invite to the awards, but she did get all gussied up in pink to go to Prince's get together. With all this late night revelry something tells me that Hollywood was quite the ghost town this morning. ICYMI, check out all our Oscar coverage!

After an exciting visit with her boys for the first time since January, Britney kept things low key with a nice dinner with her dad. The father and daughter also went to church in Malibu on Sunday. This good behavior has helped Britney score a second visit with her sons today. There's even more to celebrate for the Spears family, because Jamie Lynn passed her GED and is already thinking about college. We don't want to speak too soon, but things do seem to be on the up and up for the Spears family.

Drew Barrymore may have turned 33 this weekend, but she's certainly fallen head over heels like a teenager for Justin Long. The duo went out to a romantic birthday dinner at Mr. Chow on Friday night where they treated their fellow diners to quite the show of making out and general PDAness. See, I've warmed up to Drew/Justin as a couple, but I don't think I'd want to third wheel it on a dinner date. That wasn't all the b-day celebrating Drew got, the night before she got to party with her man and her BFF Cameron at the Soho House LA outpost. On the Oscar red carpet Cameron admitted that she didn't get Drew a present yet, but it looks like Drew doesn't need anything else to make her totally happy.
