What's that I see on Gwyneth Paltrow? A candid smile, how exciting! Gwyn was uncharacteristically cheery out on the streets of London yesterday leaving lunch at Cipriani's on Mayfair. Perhaps it's being back in the UK that accounts for her good mood, though we all know she is deep down a Manhattan baby and is maybe (jokingly?) looking for a Brooklyn baby to love. Though, after last month's NYC health scare she may already have another one on her hands. One of the bartenders at Socialista where Gwyneth helped Ashton Kutcher celebrate his 30th birthday was diagnosed with Hepatitis A. As a result, all the A-Listers in attendance (and other club-goers) were recommended to go get vaccinated just in case. After those NY health messes, no wonder she looks so happy to be back overseas.

While the crowning jewel of award season, the Academy Awards, are Sunday this whole week is full of actors rewarding each other including yesterday's First Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood luncheon. Jada Pinkett Smith was one of the women of the afternoon and Will was on hand to present the award to his wife for everything that she has done in Hollywood. Tom and Katie (love her shoes) were there to help celebrate and speak about their friend alongside Kerry Washington, Gabrielle Union and Vivica A. Fox just to name a few. Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee and possible record-breaker Ruby Dee also received an award at the luncheon and who knows, her mantel may be even more full by the end of the weekend!
After trying to avoid the inevitable, Sam Lutfi was finally slapped with a restraining order. He must stay 250 yds away from Britney and no phone contact, until March 17. Jamie Spears filed for the request and the order alleges, "Mr. Lutfi has drugged Britney. He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He claims to control everything." While Jamie is proving he can help take control of Britney's life and get her some stability, she obviously felt very safe with Sam — so do you think a restraining order against Sam is good for Britney?
Jessica Simpson looks like she may have raided Tony's closet choosing an outfit for her sushi lunch in LA yesterday and according to recent rumors that's just the beginning of what they're ready to share. Friends of Tony's are saying that after only 4 months together they see a wedding in the future and that the two are perfect for each other. We think marriage plans might be jumping the gun just a little, especially since Jess has her country album to work on. Maybe she should just stick to celebrating her huge success overseas for now.
After weeks of rumors and false alarms, Jennifer Lopez finally gave birth to her twins — a boy and a girl! According to People, the babies were born just past midnight on Long Island. The baby girl came first, weighing 5 lbs. 7 oz., followed by the 6 lb. boy. J Lo's manager described the couple as, "thrilled and over the moon." We can't wait to hear more details, but for now huge huge congrats to Jennifer and Marc!
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
