Katherine Heigl headed to Paris with her mom this weekend, squeezing in some time for shopping when she wasn't promoting 27 Dresses. Katherine probably has her eye out for last-minute additions to her Oscar ensemble. She's one of the many A-listers who will be presenting an award, which only confirms that Ms. Heigl is really a movie star now. Katherine may annoy us from time to time, but she tends to impress us on the red carpet. We're looking forward to seeing whether or not she'll go with her typical old Hollywood glamor, or wow us with something new.
Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen were back in LA on Saturday and making sure to stop by their local liquor store to pick up some goodies for the President's Day Weekend fun. Par-ty. Perhaps little R-Bils is turning to the bottle to console herself after reading all of Jumper's horrible reviews (Buzz included). On the other hand, she could have been getting something boozy to celebrate the fact that the couple's movie was number one at the box office over the long weekend! Not everyone loved the movie (okay, fine, no one I've talked to liked it at all), but congrats to them on the opening's weekend success!
Cate Blanchett showed off that ever-growing baby bump running errands around home in Sydney over the weekend. This everyday mommy look is a far cry from her fierceness in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but even her brief appearance in the trailer was enough to see that she'll be one of the best parts of that movie. By the time we all get to see that one, she may have yet another little gold man lined up on her mantel — she's nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this weekend's Oscars. Just one more week to fill out your ballot, don't forget! Fingers crossed that she'll be up for making the trek so we get to see Cate and her legendary red carpet style showing off that belly.
John Mayer was looking adorable in his cozy hoodie while out in LA grabbing some lunch with his buddies. A few years ago we never would have thought he would have been manjoyment, but we're glad this most-improved guy is also talented, fun loving, laid-back, and original. It's already making us forget about the rambling he did in Best Life magazine last week. Sure, he might be slightly eccentric, but there definitely could be worse things than being the future Mrs. John Mayer — so long as he sticks with casual outfits like these and stays away from his Borat swimsuit, right ladies?
Madonna arrived at LAX yesterday afternoon with her adorable David (and his Uggs!) in her arms. After her directorial debut premiered to less-than-stellar reviews, at least she's still got her little ones to put a smile on her face. While her movie career has been spotted with hits and misses, it's no secret that the world is a whole lot more excited for her upcoming album release — especially the first video and track featuring Timberlake and Timbaland. Methinks a Summer anthem may be in order. Spencer Pratt may talk a big game about Heidi's album, but I'm still thinking that Madonna won't have to "eat her heart out" just yet. No one compares to Madonna.
Rachel Zoe was photographed walking down Robertson, Starbucks in hand, looking ready for some serious shopping. She looked chic in her round sunglasses and Chanel bag, which she wore with of-the-moment thigh-high boots, a denim Current/Elliott biker jacket, and printed scarf.
