Project Runway Rundown: Episode 11, "The Art of Fashion" Then there were five. And though we know all five show at Bryant Park, you can rest assured that Project Runway is going the traditional route and only airing the top three. You'll have to read who was eliminated after the jump, but what a shocker!
Hilary Duff matched her white nails, white pumps, and pearly-white smile while out in LA yesterday afternoon. She also looked a little shocked — not sure what put that expression on her face, but we wonder if it was an omen of more surprises to come. Like perhaps a few Valentine's Day goodies from her boy? He'll be busy tearing things up on the ice in Toronto with the Islanders, but hopefully he'll remember to send some roses, chocolate, or new rims to his #1 fan.
In her second black dress of the day, Madonna and the stars of her directorial debut Filth and Wisdom attended their premiere last night in Berlin along with festival staple Diane Kruger. The movie focuses on three characters striving for stardom, which apparently hit close to home for Madonna. She said, "If I look back to the beginning of my career, I can recall those moments of struggle like it was yesterday." We all know Madonna's not struggling for success anymore (uh, to put it lightly). The movie's reviews, however, are a different story.
Ryan Reynolds has been everywhere lately, and this is one celebrity overload we're not complaining about. He was looking pretty hot leaving the Waverly Inn yesterday in his leather jacket and red scarf — Valentine's Day manjoyment! He probably has something sweet planned to surprise his girl Scarlett over in Berlin, but he recently talked to Parade about his very first love. He said,
You have different loves before you settle down with that one person who really kind of rings your bell. It was Ariel, in high school. I was just head over heels for her. She gave me a smooch behind the dumpsters outside of shop class. Unfortunately, she smoked these herbal cigarettes so it was literally like kissing a bucket of dirt. It was awful.
We never pinned Ryan for a romantic, but getting a peek at his softer side confirms that Scarlett is one lucky lady. Even though he's taken, you can still check out his sweet romantic comedy, Definitely, Maybe. The film hits theaters today and Buzz is already singing its praises.
Moms We Love to Love This Valentine's Day we're celebrating the celeb mamas who don't seem to mind the not-so-glamorous effects that motherhood has on their bods and lifestyles. Simply put, they are fabulously normal and we cannot get enough of them.
While Scarlett Johansson's arrival in Berlin this morning implies that she won't be spending Valentine's Day with her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, she was keeping one of the men in her life — "fiancé" Barack Obama — close to her heart. She's in town to premiere The Other Boleyn Girl at the Berlin Film Festival, but it's her other big Spring release that has everyone talking. More details are emerging about her impending album release — this time that her collaborators include David Bowie. While I'm still skeptical about the collection of Tom Waits covers as a whole, I'll be the first to admit that's a pretty kick-ass duet to nab. Who knows, maybe the album will be way more legit and awesome than I give her credit for.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
