Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman slipped into a couple of sexy numbers for the red carpet premiere of The Other Boleyn Girl at the Berlinale Film Festival today. Scarlett wore a more simple dress to balance her teased hair and dramatic eyeliner, while Natalie made it very clear that she's not the prude good girl she often gets pegged for. Once again, the girls talked about how well they got along on the set and how much they respect one another. Natalie said, "People keep asking if the rivalry was real but it was the opposite because we just liked each other so much. It was such a rare opportunity to work with an actress my age who I much admire."

Kate Beckinsale likes to keep things casual when she's not lighting up the red carpet, but yesterday she and a pal hit up Fred Segal in LA to shop for some designer clothes. A late birthday present for her daughter Lily, perhaps? Or... maybe Kate believes that the best Valentine's Day gifts are ones you pick out yourself. Either way, hopefully she picked up a couple of cute things to go with her Zahara Jolie-Pitt inspired bag.

It's been awhile since we've heard about Nick Lachey's singing career, but luckily he's got lots of other side projects and events to keep his pretty face in the public eye. Today he headed to NYC for the Hot Wheels 40th Anniversary Celebration where he enthusiastically unveiled a special jewel-encrusted mini car, worth about $140,000. That's a lot of bling for one little toy, but there is some good will involved. Later in the year, the car will be auctioned off with all the proceeds going to Big Brothers and Big Sisters, a charity chosen by Nick.

Instead of sharing a candlelit meal with Milo, Hayden Panettiere chose to celebrate Valentine's Day by going to dinner with her parents and little brother Jansen. Got to love how much time Hayden spends with her family, when she's not busy saving the whales that is. She's smart to fit in the family QT when she can, because soon she'll be back to work on both Heroes and her upcoming film projects — hopefully in the middle of her busy schedule she can pencil in some time with her boyfriend.

Hilary Duff's Valentine's Day wasn't off to the most romantic start — going through security at LAX is hardly what one might consider a fun thing to do (especially when so heavily accessorized). Seriously, check out the size of those earrings and are they made out of Valentine's Day doilies? Hilary seemed pretty excited about something yesterday, so hopefully that hockey playing boyfriend of hers was ready to welcome her when she landed with some flowers and chocolate.
