While Scarlett Johansson's arrival in Berlin this morning implies that she won't be spending Valentine's Day with her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, she was keeping one of the men in her life — "fiancé" Barack Obama — close to her heart. She's in town to premiere The Other Boleyn Girl at the Berlin Film Festival, but it's her other big Spring release that has everyone talking. More details are emerging about her impending album release — this time that her collaborators include David Bowie. While I'm still skeptical about the collection of Tom Waits covers as a whole, I'll be the first to admit that's a pretty kick-ass duet to nab. Who knows, maybe the album will be way more legit and awesome than I give her credit for.

The Paris Hilton party train was chugging right along last night, and this time it was for the launch of her 2008 clothing collection at LAX in Las Vegas. Paris got up close and personal with her own likeness before providing her guests with some entertainment. She showed off her signature dance moves and grabbed the microphone long enough to belt out a few of her own songs followed by a little lip-synching session that included "Gimme More." Lauren Conrad was a little too distracted by Brody Jenner to enjoy Paris's one-woman show. Apparently the exes kept it casual and didn't spend much time together, but it looks to us like they're still a pretty close-knit pair.

Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester headed to freezing Toronto yesterday to make an appearance on MTV Canada. Now that the strike is over, it's only a matter of time before these two are back to playing on-again, off-again Blair and Nate on Gossip Girl. It's one of the shows you're most looking forward to watching again, but Miss Meester has been creating a bit of buzz off-camera, too. Apparently the starlet was drawing attention to herself during some pre-Grammy partying, reeking of a certain illegal substance and accidentally flashing her panties to the crowd when a boy lifted her up. Poor form, Leighton — Blair Waldorf would never let that happen.

After his performance at the Grammys and showing off his chiseled cheekbones at the after parties, John Mayer was back to work in the recording studio in LA yesterday. He is looking a little less done up here and a little more hot — but of course a guitar in hand (even in its case) always helps. Mr. Mayer recently talked about his active search for the one, but it's obvious that whoever the lucky lady ends up being, she'll have to deal with his eccentricities. He said, “The thread is unbroken in my life as to the difficulty of being who I am. I’ve always had a relationship with being different. But the world needs me to be wacky, I need me to be wacky, I need me to stay wacky, and I’m never going to apologize for being wacky.” Yes, it's true, he's an odd bird but there's something delightful about it. Those soulful eyes don't hurt either.

Michelle Williams got to play serious and sexy for her latest spread for Wonderland Magazine. She did the interview before her painful month, but since then Michelle has been back to work and ready to promote her new projects. The star has always valued her privacy, but in the article she comes clean about everything from Dawson's Creek to her insecurities to being a mom to Matilda. Here are highlights:

- On the most extravagant thing she's ever bought: "Probably my house. Is that an extravagance? I used to collect rare books. My prized book is a really beautiful unbound Shakespeare, which never made it to the publishers. I used to buy them to commemorate a job but I haven’t done it in a while. I have a penchant for Victorian jewelery now so I’m always on eBay. I’ve had to cool down because it got out of hand. I was setting my alarm for three in the morning to bid."
- On whether or not she uses acting to get attention: "It’s a generalization but actors are either extroverts or introverts, it’s true. I’ve been thinking a lot recently about why I act because I think of myself as more of an introvert. I embarrass easily. I have such problems with people looking at me. So I think, ‘Why do I do this to myself? Why do I do something so public?’ But I never expected it to be this public. It does seem like a funny choice for somebody who doesn’t really like attention."
