Eric Dane is making the most of what remains of his writers' strike hiatus, grabbing lunch with pals at Joan's on Third in LA. Eric had us worried for a moment with his recent health scare headline, but it turns out that McSteamy is, well, steamed over how dramatic the OK! cover made it seem. His rep says that Eric (who is now cancer-free) is "mortified" by the magazine's cover story, and that, "his story certainly does not compare with those actually suffering from the disease." At least Eric is all better and fortunately soon he'll be back in the company of doctors all day long — actors playing doctors, that is.
Jumper: Teleport Yourself Far Away From This One The sci-fi "thriller" Jumper can be described in one word: empty. Pretty much everything about this movie is devoid of any real energy, passion or substance. The performances are stale and lifeless, the plot is interesting in theory but fails in execution and the visuals aren't cool enough to keep us engaged.
After showing off her Elegy at the Berlin Film Festival, Penelope Cruz was looking effortlessly chic at the Madrid airport yesterday. Looks like she'll be spending her Valentine's Day on her home turf, but the real question is whether or not Javier will be joining her. He was picking up yet another award at the BAFTAs over the weekend, but something tells us that Mr. Bardem might have a romantic trick or two up his sleeve — there's still time for a quick pre-Oscars beach getaway.
Hayden Panettiere looked a little beat arriving at LAX late Tuesday. From DC to Berlin it's been a whirlwind few weeks of activism and movie promoting for the pint sized starlet so I'm sure she's excited to being back in her own bed. We can look forward to more Heroes now that the writers' strike is over, but not until next Fall. Knowing Hayden, she'll keep herself busy with those movie roles in cheerleading outfits. She's getting back to California just in time for V-Day — I wonder what Milo has planned?

The twinsie duo stopped by LA's famous "Trashy Lingerie" store — sounds like Jessica is making sure to keep things playful for her last V Day with Cash before the baby. Jessica may downplay her own sexiness, but I'm sure Mr. Warren would beg to differ.
