With the night's biggest winner Amy Winehouse stuck in London, the press room was a little quiet at last night's Grammy Awards. "Low" (low, low, low) rapper T-Pain, for one, kept it all understated with his hat and cane choices. Kanye skipped out on posing with his awards after getting a little annoyed at the show's sound people, but there were some of the evening's shining stars ready to show off their new mantel bling. Rihanna, who is obviously a little protective of her prize, wouldn't even let her co-winner Jay-Z near the thing. Carrie's an old hand at the Grammy thing, while Kid Rock didn't have any awards to pose with but cozied up with his singing partner for the evening, Keely Smith. In case you missed any of it, check out all our Grammy coverage from red carpet to highlight performances and everything in between.

Award season rolls on both in the states and overseas with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards in London last night. Black, black, black ruled the red carpet from Thandie Newton to Sienna Miller in a racy see-through number and Jessica Biel whose blonde hair is thankfully looking better. Check out Fab and Bella's take on all the BAFTA beauties. This season's all-stars (and Oscar favorites) Daniel Day-Lewis and Javier Bardem took home the awards for Best Actor and Best Supporting actor respectively while Atonement won for Best Film. Keira Knightley seemed particularly excited, even smiling for once on the red carpet. Shocking. Kate Hudson wasn't there to accept any awards, but she looked hot in her dress while her movie Fool's Gold took the top spot at the US box office.

While Amy Winehouse couldn't quite make it to last night's Grammy Awards in LA, she still performed during the show via telecast from London. It was her first big outing since saying yes, yes, yes to rehab and the night's big winner looked a lot better than she has recently. That being said, I'm sure she still has a ways to go in terms of getting better. Check out the performance below (where she changes the lyrics to "Rehab" to talk about her "Blake incarcerated") and let us know — love it or leave it?
Many of the ladies on the red carpet had the chance to change outfits since they performed and presented as well. In fact, during some parts of the show the beautiful boys like John Mayer and John Legend were simply background fodder to Alicia Keys and Fergie's fabulous voices. We were especially excited to see Alicia getting down in an age appropriate outfit that made her shine. Kanye's touching performance to his mother also included a shockingly obvious hint to the orchestra to stop the send off music so he could thank his mom when he won for Best Rap Album.
Tina and Beyonce shook things up in their tight hot silver numbers (Tina, you still got it but the Posh wanna-be outfit was a bit much). Carrie Underwood changed into a hot little black number with sexy boots while Rihanna kept it playful with her fun feathery dress. The most anticipated performance of the night definitely belonged to Amy Winehouse who also won big. Her mom even stood by her side while she accepted Record of the Year. Overall, the performances were great and even though this was a special Grammy year - turning 50 and all - we hope next year they can keep the show to under 3 hours. That was certainly a long one folks.
We have performances of Tina and Beyonce and Kanye's tribute and speech so check those out after the jump. You can enjoy all the pics in slideshow format or for a huge gallery of pictures including Kid Rock, Jason Bateman, Foo Fighters and Prince just read more
The ladies of the music world got all fancied up for the Grammys last night, but we were left feeling a bit disappointed. Rihanna looked cute as part of the blue brigade, which also included Alicia Keys and Nelly Furtado. Fergie stood out in her yellow number but we couldn't take our eyes off of Beyonce, who drew more attention with her new super blond highlights than with her sparkly dress. You guys are liking Carrie's look for the best dressed, but all in all, we were more impressed with our starlets' performances on stage than on the red carpet. What did you think about all of their dresses and hair and makeup?
This weekend may be all about the Grammys but this pop star wasn't a part of any of the festivities. Instead, Britney spent part of the weekend practicing her dance moves for her new video at the Millennium dance studio. She also made sure to take time for Red Bull, Starbucks and cigarette breaks. Her father Jamie came to check in on her and he seems to be keeping a close eye on his recovering daughter. Britney also is sporting some new extensions but I can't say they are much of an improvement. A bra or less ripped stocking might have helped but at least for the most part she seemed to lay low this weekend, which is certainly better than weekends past.
The guys went mostly classy at last night's Grammy awards with a few exceptions — I'm looking at your leather suit, Daughtry. Perennially well-dressed John Legend and Jay-Z were highlights as always and Seal isn't afraid to take a risk. This time that risk included tight white pants and Velcro shoes. Chris Brown kept it appropriately youthful with his suit, though he didn't make his red and white look totally patriotic by walking the red carpet with his rumored flame Rihanna in blue. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg was so stern, what happened to his usual smile? So what about you, any favorite boys on the red carpet? Lots more Grammy fun to come, but in case you missed it, check out the full list of winners here.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
