The Grammy Awards are this Sunday, and Amy Winehouse has been doing her best to get to the states in time. She was slated to perform a few months ago and has been nominated for six awards, but since then she's been in rehab and has been having trouble with her visa and she has been officially denied. Do you think Amy should be allowed to go to the Grammys?
Project Runway Rundown: Episode 10, "Raw Talent" OK, so maybe I was a little too skeptical of this week's Project Runway. I wasn't sold on the premise of yet another sponsored challenge (this time by the WWE Divas), but now, I'm not sure what I was so worried about. The wackiness of the challenge gave the designers freedom to break loose — not quite avant-garde loose, but close — and create some of the most inventive outfits we've seen yet.
Many of us would cringe at the idea of sporting bare legs right in the middle of Winter in NYC, but not Victoria Beckham. She was living right up to her Posh nickname as she strolled down Madison Avenue yesterday and headed to brunch today. Victoria has been missing out on the Fashion Week fun, but maybe now that the Spice Girls have landed in Manhattan she'll get a chance to squeeze in a few runway shows before the group heads out again. We'd be surprised if she wasn't in the front row with Katie Holmes or supporting her buddy Marc Jacobs like last year.
Adam Brody was looking H-O-T hot leaving Subway with a friend in LA yesterday. I don't know if it's the hair or the outfit more, but it totally works for me. Give it up for the slender (scrawny? heh) boys! While I, like Buzz, pretty much despised his Sundance movie Death in Love, he was the best part of the film. Unfortunately, his next project, The Justice League Movie, has been put on hold due to the writers' strike. Until that gets back on track (or he gets another job), I'll just sit back and enjoy the more manly version of Seth Cohen.
Battle of the Gucci: Newton vs. Rihanna I don't know who helped these PYTs select their green Gucci dresses but whoever did did an excellent job. Reason being: the shades of green perfectly complement the skin tones of both ladies. Elegant and fresh, which green Gucci rules?
Reese and Ava Phillippe got to spend some one-on-one time in LA last week, so it's only fair that Deacon had his daddy all to himself at the supermarket yesterday. He got to ride shotgun in the shopping cart while Ryan perused the aisles for all of the essentials. The best part is that there was plenty of time to stop for extra father-son hugs. So precious it almost makes us forget what a jerk Ryan can be and makes us somehow wish they were all still one big happy adorable blond family.
For the second time in the past seven months, Angelina Jolie is visiting Iraq to meet with top officials and, apparently, share a little lunch with the troops. She is there on a humanitarian mission to talk about getting aid to the thousands of people displaced by conflict. She sat down with CNN to talk about her reasons for returning to the area, the problems she sees, and what she hopes to accomplish through her work with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees). You can watch her whole interview below, but what got cut off is that the interviewer couldn't help but try to ask about those pregnancy rumors. Whoops. In the full transcript you can see how Angelina responded:
Damon: There are reports out of Hollywood that . . .(laughs) Jolie: Oh don't. Stop it. (interrupts I had to ask) Stay true to your tradition. You're CNN. Don't do it! Damon: I know that's why I have to . . .(Laughs) Jolie: But I don't have to answer. OK? Damon: No you don't. I completely and totally . . . you're right and will not press the matter. Jolie: Thank you.

Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
