Most of you don't feel Lauren Conrad deserved the #1 spot on Radar's fashion maven list, but she's still making moves to secure her newfound title. After grabbing some lunch at Joan's on Third (where she showed off one of her own bags), LC headed to Intuition in LA to celebrate the launch of her new collection. At the store she chatted up her clients, ate cupcakes, and drank champagne. Sounds like this reality star is on her way to achieving her dreams, and maybe soon enough she'll be more deserving of that high fashion praise.

Lindsay Lohan plays naughty and nice very well in the March issue of Glamour UK. The devilish LL in the red dress seems a bit more like what we've come to know, but she obviously doesn't want us to forget about the sweet innocent girl she started out to be (remember that cute redhead from Parent Trap? Seems like eons ago). The article offers more of her newest mantras about working hard, staying clean, and keeping herself grounded. Here are some highlights:

• On dating: "Famous or not, it's all about having a connection with that person. It depends on who calls to your heart. If you don't have that special something then it's never going to work. At the moment, though, I'm happy just being myself, being single... just being."
• On her work ethic: "Yes, I work hard. But recently I've had so much time on my hands. So I've learned to center myself and find peace and serenity... "
• On her life philosophy: "I still believe in being spontaneous and living life to its fullest, but I just live day by day. On the whole I live by the philosophy of just staying true to myself."

We used to think Lindsay had such potential as an actress and we're still hoping this Mean Girl can stay clean and make a comeback. So far she seems to be living a cleaner life so the real question is whether or not she can stay that way.

Angelina Jolie continued to fulfill her UN duties by having lunch and meetings with soldiers and ambassadors in Iraq yesterday. She doesn't play around — kind of like the CNN interview that explained her reasons for going as well as shutting up the reporter who almost attempted to ask about "those recent rumors." Angie looked ready for war in her protective gear that she made a little more girlie with her scarf. As always it's great to see celebs get involved in ways to bring awareness to world news but Angelina looks like she needs a nap already. May we suggest a cute photo opp of the entire family on the beaches of some exotic location.

Charlize Theron was at Harvard yesterday to pick up her Hasty Pudding Pot for Woman of the Year, but not before she was sufficiently hazed by the school's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. After showing off her dance moves and riding through the streets in her very own parade, Charlize graciously accepted her award, saying, "I hope you all know I’m a high school dropout. I just thought I’d be clean with you guys. I went to school in Africa but I’m really, really honored to be here." In the spirit of the award she also got silly, joking, "I am Woman of the Year. If there was any question about me being a man, this should erase it." There were definitely a few cross-dressers at the awards ceremony, but it was pretty clear that Ms. Theron wasn't one of them.

Eva Mendes is out of treatment at Utah's Cirque Lodge briefly, but it was more than enough time for the paparazzi to find her and her boyfriend George Gargurevich visiting a friend in LA yesterday. It's not much of a surprise to see Eva out of the rehab center considering when Lindsay Lohan was there she was out shopping all the time, but hopefully being back in California isn't too stressful. Her rep said of the trip, "Eva is attending to some personal business in Los Angeles and intends to return to complete her treatment shortly." Even though things are obviously hard on a personal level for Eva, we can't wait to see what the face of Calvin Klein's newest fragrance has to show us all when she's feeling better.

Just how much Ryan and Deacon Phillippe can you handle in one week? First we got their adorable father/son supermarket hugs and then yesterday afternoon Ryan picked up his little tow-headed boy at soccer practice in LA. How cute is little Deacon having a little post-practice snack telling his dad all about it. I always thought that football was Deacon's favorite sport, but it looks like he may just be an all around future-jock. Not too much of a stretch looking at his dad, eh?
