Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen may be in Rome to work on promoting Jumper, but it looks like they're having a good time doing it. Hayden Especially Rachel in her hot and sassy Louboutin boots. The couple was at the Colosseum yesterday morning to field interviews, but it's not the first time they've been together at the historical site. The movie's director Doug Liman was granted unprecedented access to shoot inside the depths of the Colosseum, adding even more visual splendor to the very cool looking film. It's only fitting that the stars would return to the site for promotional work, but hopefully R-Bils and Hayden will be back in the states soon so cuties can walk the red carpet at some premieres — maybe even together? That would be nice.

Halle Berry was all in black out running some more errands in Hollywood yesterday afternoon. Naturally, she's still super huge waiting for her baby's arrival, but at least she's wearing flats unlike some of the very pregnant celebrities we see out and about. She's also keeping her hair short, sweet and hopefully relatively low maintenance because that's the last thing she needs to have to worry too much about these days. Unfortunately, we haven't seen too much of Halle's hot boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey these days, but she's always got a bodyguard or two to make sure that she and her precious cargo are protected.

After making the talk show rounds for her new film Fool's Gold, Kate Hudson took a stroll around NYC with Ryder. She ditched her promotional formal-wear for something a little more casual while Ryder looks like a mini-fashionista (fashionisto?) himself in that plaid coat and knit cap — maybe he's been taking some inspiration from Fashion Week? While her new movie wasn't my favorite (more on that in my review tomorrow), Kate's still one of my favorite leading ladies. With her new movie news, Buzz wants to know whether you think she should stick to comedies or dramatic films? I used to think that romantic comedies were my favorites from her, but after this one I'm excited to see her get back to something more heavy, too.

Last night Madonna hosted "A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF" in NYC. Everyone from Tom and Katie, Demi and Ashton, Drew and Justin, Heidi, Salma, and of course, her daughter Lourdes (my how they grow up so fast), BFF Gwyneth and old friend Rosie were there to raise money. A very pregnant J Lo went from Marchesa to this (still in heels — crazy) and a newly pregnant Gwen who has not made her official announcement yet hid her baby bump. The a-list event raised $3.7 million and kicked off the opening of the latest Gucci store in NY. Alicia Keys and Rihanna performed and Chris Rock auctioned "off celebrity events, such as aerobics with Madonna and baseball batting practice with Yankee Alex Rodriguez." Madonna looks amazing and part of her glow has got to do with the success of the event.

Britney's first night back out in LA was proof that the more things come out into the open, the more things stay the same for the pop tart. Following her afternoon of driving around and visiting the office of the lawyer that wants to remove her dad as conservator with Adnan, Britney and her boy checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel. Soon after, her parents released a statement to Anderson Cooper about the day's proceedings and Britney being allowed to leave the hospital. The statement read:

"As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."

Britney was apparently released early from UCLA because there was "no just cause" for her being held longer. According to TMZ, Britney's father is expected back in court tomorrow to request that he be given more power as her conservator. This could include his being able to control all her financial decisions (like hotel rooms) and who she spends time with (like bringing the paparazzo into her car, or seeing Adnan). OK! was reporting that Jamie Spears even showed up at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night with legal papers to get into Brit's room and try to bring her home.

The new Harper's Bazaar with Lindsay Lohan is about to hit the newsstands, and we've gotten a peek at how her superhero-themed photoshoot turned out. LL plays the mundane housewife just going about daily routines like laundry and buying groceries with a variety of men. You know, normal things in the life of LL — or at least, that's what she'd like you to think. We heard about how much she likes staying at home these days, and she also opened up about her priorities, career ambitions, and wardrobe. Here's more:

• On her priorities: "Now, I don't want to go out. The one thing that stops me? What are they going to say if there's a picture? Is it worth it? It's not. Not right now. I need to work."
• On her musical ambitions: "I'd love to work with Timbaland. I'd love to work with Kanye West, 50 Cent if I could."
• On her clothing stash: "I have had so many crates in storage, mostly clothes. I open them and it's like shopping — amazing. Stuff I didn't even know I had... I want to do something because it's like, I have so much stuff."

Paris Hilton went to college yesterday, but obviously not to receive an education. Instead she picked up her trophy for being named Harvard Lampoon's Woman of the Year. Clearly Harvard doesn't have the same high standards for its award recipients as it does for its students. Paris was as eloquent as ever when she accepted the cup, saying, "Harvard is hot! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine standing here, standing on the steps of the Harvard Lampoon. It's really exciting and I've had such a great time." It's always refreshing to hear Paris making fun of herself, but hopefully the masterminds at Harvard don't have the heiress in mind for a graduation speaker.
