While the Super Bowl was the main event of the weekend, it wouldn't be February without a new awards show at every turn. This Saturday it was the producers' turn to be honored, and there were plenty of celebs on hand to help them. Casey Affleck and Ellen Page had the opportunity to perfect their red carpet looks before the Academy Awards. Diane Lane upgraded her look from the SAGs, and once again her man Josh Brolin's movie, No Country For Old Men, took home the honors for best feature film. It's been winning award after award, which is making the movie's Oscar odds look good.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have been talking about her big career as a singer for what feels like forever, and now we have the long-anticipated first single and video. Apparently Spencer directed the video himself, featuring Heidi parading around on the beach in her bikini — you know, in case you missed it the first 200 times. Jamie and Lynne visited their daughter at UCLA Medical Center on Saturday. Following the completion of her 72-hour psychiatric evaluation, it was decided that her time in the hospital will be extended for 14 more days. Even while Britney is away getting help, her legal matters are a mess as usual. Her lawyers were supposed to go to court with Kevin's attorneys today to discuss visitation rights, but the hearing was postponed. This afternoon, however, her divorce lawyers will be in the courtroom to try to get control of Britney's finances and medical decisions taken away from her father. Even though Britney is locked away, we're not surprised she is still making tons of headlines.
Lindsay Lohan spent her weekend around LA shopping for food/clothes, wearing sunglasses/leggings (broken record), you know, the us(ual). Ali's still tagging along for some quality sister time and it turns out she's taken on the role of matchmaker too. LL's supposed new boyfriend Jeremy Greene gave an interview to his local Maine paper about how he got involved with the Lohan clan, Ali's text messages about Lindsay, and his plans to be on Dina's reality show. Seriously. He said about Lindsay, "I can neither confirm nor deny it...I'm not saying I'm Lindsay's boyfriend -- I'm not saying that at all. We're just friends. You'll have to watch the E! network and find out what happens with this." Lovely. He also said that while filming started in Long Island, he will be living with the Lohan family while they film living in Vegas soon. Sounds like we'll be seeing more of this guy whether or not Lindsay really likes him, perhaps even in our living rooms on Dina's ridiculous show.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
