Mandy Moore has definitely been taking it easy lately with trips to the gym, shopping around LA and only the occasional party. It's not that she's lazy, of course, as she recently wrote on her MySpace blog saying her relaxed lifestyle is due to a writers' strike-induced break. Can't blame her for enjoying the routine of "pilates, acupuncture, driving around town listening to good jams," but her upcoming short Australian tour with Ben Lee and Kelly Clarkson sounds like a blast, too.
Jennifer Garner clutched all the belongings she needed in her hands, but her little Violet opted instead for a fashionable little handbag to tote around LA yesterday afternoon after more house hunting with Ben. Jen looks pretty cute in her plaid coat, but obviously Violet is going to be the fashionista of the family. These two aren't quite carrying matching designer just yet, but that would be a sight — especially since Jen often skips the couture herself. Also gotta love the look on Violet's face, she is going to be the coolest little sass muffin ever.
The glamorous SAG Awards kicked off a week in which we saw lots of Eva Longoria promoting Over Her Dead Body, the kick off to New York Fashion Week, and, sadly, Britney's second trip to the hospital. Here's a look back at the week in photos.
The cast of the best show you're not watching, Friday Night Lights, got together for a little party in Hollywood last night. Quite the group of lookers, eh? Adorable Minka Kelly and Aimee Teegarden both showed off their red carpet poses, though Miss Aimee could lose the jeans under her summer-y dress. Tim Riggins, er, Taylor Kitsch, steamed up the event with his scruff before sort of outing his friend Chase's relationship with Carrie Underwood (not like it was any big secret). I don't even really like long hair, but the boy makes it work. Meanwhile, Kyle Chandler can really do no wrong, ever. The show's on tonight, and there are still new episodes (well...two)! Seriously though, try it, you'll totally love it. I hear tonight is a real tear jerker.
Today is National Red Day, and the runway at NY Fashion Week certainly reflected that. Jenna Fischer and Sara Ramirez were happy to add a modeling gig to their resumes for the good cause, alongside seasoned veteran Heidi Klum at the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection fashion show. Chris Noth looked a little confused over at the Nautica show, but maybe he was just blinded by all the beautiful ladies and designs. Project Runway's Christian was there to check out the fierce looks coming from Perry Ellis before the big PR show next week, which lucky girls Fab and Bella get to go to. Yup, the girls are at Fashion Week again so don't forget to check out all their coverage on Sugar and over at Elle.com!
The Super Bowl isn't until Sunday, but the party started in Arizona last night. Mary J. Blige and Adam Levine showed off their vocal talents for the lucky guests at the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash. Ashlee and Pete got some sun and tested some new low fat french fries, yummy, and Adrian Grenier chatted up Ludacris at the Best Damn Super Bowl Party Period — wonder if they placed any friendly bets? Obviously there were tons of fun parties, but the most eventful was Matt Leinart's Celebrity Beach Bowl, which came complete with Jenny McCarthy looking fabulous and Paris Hilton. The icing on the cake was that 50 Cent gave Paris a shoutout, but then made her cry when he refused to let her dance on stage with him. It looks like Paris still managed to spend plenty of time showing off her moves, so no harm done.
Kate Moss was all smiles leaving the SingStar Take That Extravaganza in London. She took a casual approach to the night, opting for patent leather flats and mixed-matched blacks.
