Justin Timberlake's new Pepsi ad and promotional campaign to win free stuff may not officially kick off until this Sunday during the Super Bowl, but we've got your first taste of it right here. Our beloved little JT gets all thrown around and banged up for this one, but it ends with a pretty cute line from the budding actor. Check it out below and tell us what you think — I'm so excited for this weekend, are you? What are you looking forward to more, the commercials or the game? Go Pats!
Pilot Watch: Eli Stone With several new series set to premiere this Winter, I'm resurrecting my occasional pilot watch feature to share my first impressions of the upcoming shows. Up today: Eli Stone, which premieres after Lost this Thursday. What's it about? A ruthless San Francisco attorney starts seeing visions of George Michael and learns that he's either 1) a prophet, or 2) dying of a brain aneurysm.
We've got to admire Madonna for her daily treks to the gym, though the task seems less daunting when she lives next door to her very own $12 million fitness center. The price tag is hefty, but Madonna can afford to work out like a queen especially since she just topped Forbes' list of the Highest Earning Female Musicians of 2007 with an income of $72 million. Plus, with her new album coming our way in April and her ground breaking $100 million Live Nation contract last October, 2008 should be another amazing year for the icon. One thing is for sure — Madonna works (and works out) hard for the money.
Carmen Electra smiled for the cameras leaving TRL in Times Square yesterday. She probably felt right at home in the MTV Studios, though they've come a long way since her time on Singled Out years ago and later that ill-fated 'Til Death Do Us Part with Dave. These days, Carmen swings through when she has projects to promote like her new movie Meet the Spartans. In the midst of award season it's hard to believe that the spoof took the #1 slot at the box office last weekend, but it just goes to show that America can't resist a raunchy comedy and Carmen together on the big screen.
Lindsay Lohan may be biding her time in Manhattan before Fashion Week kicks off, but that doesn't mean she's sitting alone in her hotel room buying movies off the television. After a weekend of going out drinking/not drinking and making out/not making out with Brody Jenner, LL had a new boy to call her own by Monday night. She was out getting cozy with Jeremy Greene a singer/songwriter (whose MySpace page is probably getting more hits than ever today) and calling him her boyfriend. This Jeremy character is apparently managed by everyone's favorite, Joe Simpson, so I'm thinking that he's going to try to have his little up-and-coming artist hang out with Lindsay for as long as he possibly can.
Shine vs. Sheen: Mimic the Look of Natural Skin These pictures of actress Ali Larter are stunning; it looks like she drank the fountain of youth! I love the way her skin has a natural sheen without having any kind of glitter or shimmer to it. MAC Pro artist James Molloy was just telling me that great makeup mimics skin's natural texture, and we all know that skin has a little bit of shine to it.
Naomi Watts kept her grocery choices under wraps at the Brentwood Country Mart yesterday in LA. The actress canceled her Sundance appearances after Heath's tragic death and then she went into hiding while grieving over her ex-boyfriend. She attended Heath's memorial service this past weekend and since then has been spotted running errands in LA. We're glad she is starting to feel better and get out more since we can only imagine the sadness she is still feeling over the loss of such a special person in her life.
Kate Moss was all smiles leaving the SingStar Take That Extravaganza in London. She took a casual approach to the night, opting for patent leather flats and mixed-matched blacks.
