If Lindsay Lohan is trying to get on PETA's bad side, she sure did a great job of making a statement in not one but two fur jackets while out and about in NYC on Saturday. She hit up Da Silvano and the Waverly Inn in her shiny spandex and a ton of eyeliner. Maybe she was getting all made up to have a secret rendezvous with Mr. Brody Jenner? On the other hand, they weren't spotted together again, so it's possible they just kept things to racy text messages instead.

Tom Cruise skipped the red carpet (boo — where was Katie?) and despite the latest controversy, he was there to support his fellow actors in the union last night at the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Tom presented the best ensemble cast to No Country For Old Men. Other big winners included Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, The Sopranos cast and Daniel Day Lewis who had the most heartfelt speech dedicating his award to Heath Ledger who he said was "unique" and "perfect" when referring to his role as Ennis in Brokeback Mountain. The rest of the show was pretty much business as usual and of course water watch for Angelina Jolie. Although there were no major surprises tell Buzz if you agree with the movie and television honorees.

The beautiful ladies at the SAG awards last night didn't disappoint us on one of the few red carpet award shows we were treated to this year. Floor length gowns in grey and blue were popular and some of the ladies like Eva Longoria went all out Ice Queen style while Ellen Page represented those who went for something more simple. Who do you think deserves the best dressed crown? Cate Blanchett glowed in green earlier this weekend and continued to show off her beautiful baby bump last night, but of course the talk of the evening was Angelina in her extremely flowy dress. Those rumors of twins are feeling a lot more real, since she could easily fit a family of four under her vintage Hermes gown if she wanted to.

Ryan Gosling was just about the only guy keeping it interesting with his fashion choice at last night's SAG Awards in LA. Along with his shimmery suit, plaid shirt and lack of tie, he wore a black ribbon on his lapel in honor of Heath Ledger. The rest of the men went pretty traditional, but at least all those handsome faces were there to keep us satisfied. Highlights (other than Gosling) included some not-frequently-seen-enough favorites like Casey Affleck, John Krasinski and Javier Bardem. Josh Brolin took a chance on cleanliness (heh) and planted a wet one on Jeremy Piven's cheek while Footloose stars old and new Kevin Bacon and Zac Efron posed together — cute, huh? Any men red carpet favorites last night? How do you feel about Brad Pitt's highlights with that salt and pepper goatee? Pretty special. Of course, check out the ladies red carpet and let us know what you think about all the winners, too.

Britney spent her weekend with a new paparazzi buddy (aren't they all) on Friday and stopping by the Hustler store on Sunday with Sam. Hopefully she kept her clothes on this time. The good news for Brit is she won Best International Album at France's NRJ Music Awards, but there is also trouble brewing. All week ET aired a fairly uneventful series of interviews with her photographer/boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, but apparently that's not the most important video he's looking to sell (plus he claims he wasn't paid for that). News of the World — so, big grain of salt — says that Adnan is trying to sell six videos of Britney in various mental and emotional states rambling about everything from her childhood to loving Kevin. He's looking for somewhere in the ballpark of $2 million. On the other hand, her other shady friend Sam claims that he's never profited a dime off Britney. I guess that's good to hear, but it would be better if it was never a question of any of the men in her life selling her out in the first place.

Scarlett Johansson was back with her #1 guy after entertaining hundreds of marines in Kuwait last week. Of course, the question on everyone's minds is whether or not those engagement rumors are true, and Scarlett answered back — but not with the answer we had hoped for. She said, "I am engaged ... to Barack Obama. My heart belongs to Barack, and that is who I am currently, finally, engaged to. Yes." Guess this means we probably won't be seeing a wedding for her and Ryan in the near future, but maybe once campaign season is over, Scarlett will have a change of heart.

Ah, finally a big red carpet event for us to get all excited about! We were certainly going through withdrawals and we were hoping for an exciting SAG Awards. Luckily, the stars did not disappoint. There were a few missteps but for the most part everyone was at their red carpet best. As always, we want to know which looks you loved and which ones you didn't so vote on all of the red carpet looks:
