You'd think Isla Fisher was headed to Sundance from the way she was all bundled up last night, but she broke out the Winter gear to grab dinner at the Waverly Inn in NYC. We've got to hand it to her — even in Uggs, Isla always manages to look adorable. She's been spending most of her time with her new baby Olive these days, but we can't wait to see her definitely, maybe showing off her postpregnancy body at the premiere of her cute, new movie Definitely, Maybe.

Katherine Heigl was hard at work on her promotional tour hopping from talk show to talk show in New York yesterday morning. From Regis and Kelly to Martha Stewart, it's all in a day's work for the leading lady. Her 27 Dresses hits theaters today, and it sounds like my girl Buzz was pleasantly surprised by the generic chick flick. This one has guilty pleasure movie written all over it — and I don't think I'm the only one who's looking forward to it, heh. I may not love Heigl all the time, but she (and her hair) looks gorgeous. So, who's making it a girls' night out with 27 Dresses tonight?

Tom Cruise's name was all over the press this week between his controversial Scientology videos and helping Katie promote Mad Money in NYC, but he still found time for the important stuff, like taking his son Connor to dinner for his 13th birthday back in LA last night. Katie's movie hits the theaters today, and she chatted with Ryan Seacrest this morning about why she picked this movie over Batman and how much she loves acting. She also talked about how much she loves the Beckhams and dished about being married "to the biggest movie star in the world." Even though this is Katie's time to shine, Tom never really leaves the spotlight, now does he?

Leonardo DiCaprio and his buddy Lukas Haas do everything together these days, and last night it was a courtside seats at the Lakers/Suns game in LA. Besties! From Paris to the Caribbean to Knot's Berry Farm, we rarely see Leo without Lukas by his side and vice versa. Unfortunately for the boys, the Lakers lost last night, but there's no way to complain when you're getting that kind of view of the game. It sounds like Leo is keeping himself very busy with projects these days (Lukas not so much), so methinks we'll be seeing a lot more of these boys all through 2008.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards are the only trophies sure to be presented to an audience of glammed-up celebrities this awards season as long as the writers' strike is still in full swing. We at Sugar are hoping this all gets settled in time for the Oscars, but we're also not going to miss the chance to do the SAGs up big.
That's why we're launching a contest to pick the winners in several of the major categories. Here's what you need to do to enter: Just log into your TeamSugar account and fill out this ballot before noon PST on Jan. 27. The person with the best guesses wins one full year of Netflix service. If you're not a registered user, be sure to sign up before filling out your ballot. For the official rules click here. Good luck!

Ben Affleck has landed in DC to begin researching his role in State of Play. The movie was originally a dream cast reunion of Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, but those guys have bailed and Ben has replaced Norton. Affleck's character is a politician on the rise, which seems like a dream role for the actor who has certainly never shied away from speaking his mind on political matters. While in town Ben met with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and delegates from his home state of Massachusetts, and apparently all the women working on the Hill rushed to have their picture taken with him upon hearing that he was on the premises. Even if Ben was second choice for the film, it sounds like he's still ranked pretty high with the ladies down in DC.
