In lieu of getting our Gossip Girl fix on TV this week, we have to catch up on the real life rumors the co-stars are facing. Blake Lively donned her designer Chanel gown last night to the Nuit de Diamants gala. It's not our favorite dress but we'd love to re-create her uptown makeup look. At the event Blake partied alongside alleged boyfriend Penn Badgley but she is avoiding the romance rumors, saying, "Everybody always tries to dig into your personal life or create things that aren't there... it's silly." That doesn't sound like an outright denial and we heard they were close-talking, so we're going to hope that Serena and Dan are enjoying a real-life romance — just like Summer and Seth! Besides, a picture tells a thousand words - so you be the judge.

Katherine Heigl got all glammed up in red to chat with David Letterman in NYC last night. She was there to plug 27 Dresses of course, but she couldn't help but to chat more about her husband Josh (or "Joshua," as she likes to call him) and their winter wedding. Usually, we can expect Heigl to gush about her man, but this time around she decided to call him out for getting injured right before the wedding and losing his ring just days afterwards. Guess the honeymoon period is over already.

Luke Wilson put on his exercise clothes and took his mustache for a belated New Year's resolution (?) walk/jog on Monday in LA. Luke has been M.I.A. for a while working on his facial hair and unfortunately it sounds like his latest film is similarly unsuccessful. He's had a couple of duds recently with The Wendell Baker Story briefly in theaters and Idiocracy going right to the shelves of Blockbuster (though he was momentarily in 3:10 To Yuma...random). Plus, his Blonde Ambition with Jessica Simpson is out for rental this Tuesday. Remember, however, it wasn't quite straight to DVD. I'm guessing I might be the only one renting that next week?

Patrick Dempsey looked perfectly put together yesterday after a trip to the gym in LA but it's not as much fun as seeing him in his scrubs. Turns out that we're not the only ones missing our weekly doses of Dempsey. Conan O'Brien wrote in his strike journal that, with all of his free time these days he tried to read a book but got sidetracked because he was, "wondering if Meredith and McDreamy will ever work things out. They're so right for each other and yet so wrong." We couldn't agree more with Conan on that one and considering he's been chugging along without writers on his own show for weeks, at least he's there to help us fill the gap before Grey's returns.

Considering what some of her on-stage outfits look like, Fergie kept it demure and understated performing at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand on Thursday night. Also slightly bizarre for Fergie was her footwear — the pop star usually wears sky high heels when she performs opting instead for sneakers. Will this choice of comfy footwear only fuel the rumors that not only is she newly-engaged but also pregnant? Apparently at the Las Vegas 100th episode celebration party last week the mayor of Sin City presented Josh Duhamel with a pair of baby Crocs that sparked whispers about Fergie expecting. I still doubt it, but considering that everyone in Hollywood is having babies these days...who knows.
