Sarah Michelle Gellar looked fabulously put together signing autographs as she headed into The Late Show With David Letterman in NYC last night. She looked even more chic once she braved the cold and ditched her long coat (even if it was just for a minute). She chatted with Dave about her new movie The Air I Breathe, and also got cute analyzing those slightly unflattering pics of her surfing in Hawaii. She mostly blamed Freddie for laughing at her as she wiped out, but luckily SMG had the right sense of humor to make fun of herself.
Amy Checks Into Rehab — at Last The shamed singer left her East London home this afternoon in a blacked-out Mercedes and headed to the Edward House private rehabilitation clinic in North West London. Earlier in the day her dad, MITCH, arrived at the singer’s home to offer support. He later followed Amy to rehab.

Kirsten Dunst came to Sundance this year not as an actress premiering a movie, but as a first time director showing off her short Welcome. The movie premiered on Friday, so by the weekend it was all smooth sailing and hanging out on Main Street taking in all the sights and parties. While Kirsten's film isn't one of the options, you can check out some of the other Sundance Shorts free online over the next ten days (and buy others on iTunes). Hey, getting a little taste of the festival without all the layers (have I mentioned it's cold here?) is certainly a treat.
Love and Gadgetry in 27 Dresses When I saw 27 Dresses this past weekend, I thought I was in for some light chick-flick action, but my geekiness was indulged when James Marsden sweetly gave Katherine Heigl's character a Palm 755p to replace her old worn-out date book. With Valentine's Day coming up, my head was swimming with geek love and the romantic possibilities of gadget gifts as I hope my boyfriend takes notice.
Scarlett Johansson provided a breath of fresh air and a taste of home for about 600 marines stationed in Kuwait on Sunday. Unsurprisingly, the men lined up to catch a glimpse of the actress and were treated to conversation and autographs (a few even walked away with a stamp of red lipstick on their cheeks). Scarlett was happy to provide a bit of eye candy as a distraction from serving our country, saying,
It’s important to give people a piece of home and to boost morale. Everybody out here is risking everything, giving us one of the biggest gifts they can. I want to be out here to support them. It’s nice to give them a smile in the middle of the day. If they are missing home, feeling down or worried, hopefully being here will get their minds off of things.
As for her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, something tells us he won't be too jealous about Scarlett being the object of affection for hundreds of men. It's still premature, but word on the street is that we can expect to hear engagement news to surface sometime in the near future.
Oh hi there Tom Brady, I (and a few other people) happened to notice that you were spotted walking around Manhattan yesterday with your supermodel girlfriend, her puppy, some flowers . . . and a walking cast. What's up with that last part? Inquiring Patriots fans want to know. After another win on Sunday, landing the Pats in the Super Bowl with the Giants in two weeks, Tom Brady raised some eyebrows when a TMZ video of him like this hit the Internet. Tom addressed the photos saying:
There are always kind of bumps and bruises. I'll be ready for the Super Bowl. I'm not missing this one. I'd have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will just be some treatment this week and, like I said, games like this you get a little nicked up, but it's nothing serious.
The Patriots spokesperson had no comment on the injury. Last night, however, Tom and Gisele were out at Butter (where her ex Leonardo was also . . . though the two parties didn't interact) and the QB had no walking cast. Hopefully this means it's really nothing serious, or he's just trying to psych out his Super Bowl competition. I know I'm in the minority here, but I gotta say Go Pats.
