Among all the other crazy stories and headlines about Britney, Star magazine's latest cover boasts that Kevin Federline has been offered a $10 million tell-all book deal. We're certainly not reporting this as fact and tell-all books are usually bad news, but it got us thinking. . . . Of all the people in Britney's life, we wouldn't mind hearing his story. Lindsay Lohan was very very sneaky with her dark wig on her way into traffic school in Santa Monica yesterday. I barely even know it's her...or something. I'll tell you what, though, if she really wanted to throw off the paparazzi (which she obviously didn't) she should have worn a) color and b) real pants. It looks like you all are overwhelmingly ready for Lohan to ditch the long blond locks, so maybe this disguise will inspire her to make the switch for real. Fingers crossed.
How do I love John Mayer, let me count the ways. . . . With all the flack that Jessica Simpson has been getting lately, her ex-boyfriend John is not the first person I would guess to come to her defense (well, to be fair I guess Eva Longoria did first, but she was kinda just talking about herself). However, John Mayer took to his blog last night in an incredibly sweet way to defend Jess and her Texan prize. He said, in an entry titled "Don't Ex With Texas":

This is about doing what I think is right as a person, in this case speaking my mind.
I have never known anyone to have more pride in their home state and their upbringing in it than Jessica Simpson has in Texas. I don't really follow sports, but I have played some of my biggest and best concerts in your state, and having witnessed how dynamic the spirit there is, I'm betting emotions are running high right about now.

Drew and Justin were back to looking like lovestruck teenagers at the airport in New Orleans yesterday. Drew is looking very chipper and perhaps her newest project is putting a little bit of spring in her step — she's just signed on to make her feature film directorial debut! The movie is called Whip It! and will star up-and-coming Ellen Page, which means it's already getting buzz. Actress/producer Drew is ready to take on a new challenge, saying, "I've been working toward the goal of directing my entire life. Whip It! is a story that really spoke to me." Sometimes it seems like there's nothing this woman can't do, and we're excited to see what she comes up with.
Stop me if you've heard this one before: Britney Spears spent Tuesday in at least three different outfits meandering around LA with skeevy Adnan and (ahem) making her way through throngs of paparazzi like usual while her boys trucked along at Kevin's. Apparently Brit's got herself a boyfriend in LA and a realtor in Dallas these days, at least according to her shirt. How's that for publicity? What other Britney stories are we wading through today? Well, Sam is thankfully denying the suicide-note rumor while OK! is going with the cover story that she's trying to get pregnant again. That seems like a horrible idea, so hopefully this is another false baby for Britney, though she was seen shopping for pregnancy tests on Monday. Fingers crossed she's just trying to mess with the media — another baby is the last thing she needs.
Also probably not on the list of things she needs? Another one of her close friends talking to the press. But that didn't stop Alli Simms from sitting down with Us Weekly. Among other defending-Britney stuff, she talked about Brit's new man. She said, "I do not think Adnan is a good person. . . . I think he only has bad intentions. He has given me a weird feeling and creeped me out. I wish he would just go away." I'll second that.
Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward to Make Sweet, Sweet Album Turns out, the musical collaboration between singer-songwriter M. Ward and the insanely adorable Zooey Deschanel isn't just a one-time thing. In an interview with the LA radio station KCRW, Deschanel said the two have recorded a full-length album coming out in March.
