After a very brief stop at her custody hearing, Britney Spears spent her afternoon momentarily at church, eating Mexican food with Adnan and Sam and then returning home. She never even went inside the courthouse; instead her lawyers came out to consult with her in the car before she headed on her way. While we're not sure exactly what went down either in the hearing, between Brit and her legal team, or whether things would have changed even if she showed up on time, the results aren't good for the erstwhile pop tart. The Commissioner decided that her visitation will not be restored until at least the next hearing, which is scheduled for Feb. 19. Neither the decision nor Britney's behavior are much of a surprise, but I'm sure she'll have her excuses. She always does.
Rihanna was dressed for Summer in January on Sunday when she went out to a LA tattoo parlor in a tank top and shorts to get some new ink. We haven't seen too much of Rihanna lately, and this super casual look is definitely different from her glamorous red carpet style. But Rihanna has ample chances to get into a gown in February, as she just received a nomination in the category of Best International Female Solo Artist at this year's Brit Awards to go with her handful of Grammy nods. Considering the year that she's had, it seems like Rih's chances at getting her hands on some more statues for her mantel look pretty good.
Kate Moss returned to London after her holiday getaway in Thailand, and she and Jamie wasted no time getting back to their friends. The couple hit up a nearby house party (with a tiny Kelly O) shortly after arriving home. Kate will soon be the host of her own party when she turns 34 on Wednesday — and we know she just loves an all-out birthday bash. Kate went solo on Monday to check out the progress of renovations on her new house, and apparently she's slowly moving in. Maybe Kate's party will be a housewarming instead.
Over the weekend this new video of Tom Cruise talking about Scientology surfaced and started to make its way around the Internet. The pieced together interview was recently shown when the actor won the Freedom Medal of Valor Award at the International Association of Scientologists. It's about 9 minutes long (fyi, the last minute or so is the best part), and shows Tom talking very passionately about his faith and religion in a way we've never quite seen before, including some classic quotes and that laugh. The video was probably never meant to be public, but now that it's out — what do you think about hearing Tom open up about Scientology?
Justin has been laying low since wrapping his world tour but this weekend he was spotted hanging out at Villa in LA. He went solo since his gf Jessica Biel is currently working on her latest film in London. JT was looking a little sweaty but considering he's the new face of Givenchy men's fragrance we're thinking he figured out a way to still smell sexy. Next month JT will be at the Grammys where he's up for a few awards. Supposedly the writers' strike won't have anywhere near the same effect on those awards as it did on last night's Golden Globes but stay tuned.
It was a big weekend for new celebrity babies with Nicole and Christina giving birth to little Harlow and Max respectively, but we can't forget about Halle who was showing off her now huge baby bump out book shopping in LA. I'm sure hearing about these hyped new additions gets Halle even more excited for her big day. She may have her nursery and toys all ready to go for baby, but it's not time for her to retire her pregnancy skinny jeans just yet.
Rachel Zoe was photographed walking down Robertson, Starbucks in hand, looking ready for some serious shopping. She looked chic in her round sunglasses and Chanel bag, which she wore with of-the-moment thigh-high boots, a denim Current/Elliott biker jacket, and printed scarf.
