Justin has been laying low since wrapping his world tour but this weekend he was spotted hanging out at Villa in LA. He went solo since his gf Jessica Biel is currently working on her latest film in London. JT was looking a little sweaty but considering he's the new face of Givenchy men's fragrance we're thinking he figured out a way to still smell sexy. Next month JT will be at the Grammys where he's up for a few awards. Supposedly the writers' strike won't have anywhere near the same effect on those awards as it did on last night's Golden Globes but stay tuned.

It was a big weekend for new celebrity babies with Nicole and Christina giving birth to little Harlow and Max respectively, but we can't forget about Halle who was showing off her now huge baby bump out book shopping in LA. I'm sure hearing about these hyped new additions gets Halle even more excited for her big day. She may have her nursery and toys all ready to go for baby, but it's not time for her to retire her pregnancy skinny jeans just yet.

Mandy Moore went super casual this weekend to check out a few belts and run some errands in LA. Something tells us that her Ultimate Fighting Championship sweatshirt didn't come from her cute clothing line but it's kind of hilarious that she is wearing it so seriously. Mandy got lots of male attention on NYE in her sexy pink number, so we're hoping that loungewear won't be the norm for her in '08.

Britney Spears arrived at her custody hearing in downtown Los Angeles just a few minutes ago. Stop me if you've heard this one before, she was very late. Her lawyers, Kevin's lawyers and Kevin have been there all morning hearing testimony, and we weren't sure if Brit was going to show at all. If she had been a no show entirely, there was pretty much no chance that she would be getting visitation rights back, but even as it is I can imagine it will be a tough sell. She showed up with her boyfriend Adnan, of course. We'll keep you updated...

Update: Britney stood around outside for a while and then apparently got back in the car and is already heading home. Not sure what exactly happened there, but it appears that she will not be in the courtroom today.

Keira Knightley and James McAvoy, who have a lot to celebrate now that Atonement picked up the Golden Globe for Best Drama (good sign for those Oscars), recently sat down with W Magazine to chat about their much-hyped film. Keira, who is on many a magazine cover these days, sports lots of Chanel in the photos (perhaps some synergy between her outfits and that Chanel perfume contract) to go with her angry faces. A little scary, no? At least she lightened up in the interview. Here are highlights:

• On taking time off: “It got to the point where you just get tired, and then you start to forget what you love about what you do. I wanted to be able to say to my friends, ‘Yes, I will be there for your birthday.’ I was having that discombobulated feeling of being homesick but not knowing what I was homesick for.”
• On being a professional: "From a very young age I realized that you didn’t get parts if you acted like a child. So even at seven I remember picking a way to behave, a way that worked. Though in my personal life I don’t think I’m particularly mature. I don’t particularly want to be mature!”
