Beyonce (in studded booties) found herself in a rapper sandwich between Jay-Z and Kanye West at the Nets vs. Sonics game in New Jersey last night. Of course, Nets co-owner Jay hooked up his lady and buddy with seats so the three could laugh it up courtside. We love seeing Kanye with supportive friends and a smile back on his face after his mother's tragic death last year, and we guess there's no hard feelings between Kanye and B after all those games of Connect Four that she won.

• Michelle Rodriguez has been released from jail after serving 18 days, one tenth of her 180 day sentence. The lucky actress was released due to the usual jail overcrowding. I'm starting to think we need more jails in LA. Besides, tough girl Michelle must be very disappointed, considering how much she likes jail. — TMZ
• The California Department of Health has ruled that Cedars-Sinai failed to adhere to procedure when Dennis Quaid's newborn twins received a nearly fatal overdose of blood thinner, and has yet to determine whether or not to fine the hospital. • New mother Salma Hayek is fronting a campaign to vaccinate Asian and African babies in need against tetanus. We're sure little Valentina is proud of her do-gooder mom. — LilSugar
• Johnny Grant, the honorary mayor of Hollywood, passed away yesterday in his suite at the Roosevelt Hotel at the age of 84. Our thoughts are with his friends and family. — AP
• After responding to reports of her pregnancy on her blog with a simple, "no", Pamela Anderson's rep has confirmed that she is not pregnant. That's one less thing to complicate her messy on-again off-again divorce. — People

Late last night we were hearing that Britney had boarded a private jet with her new paparazzo most-likely-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, and that the two were sneaking off to NYC. Turns out they pulled a fast one on us because Britney and Adnan resurfaced in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. Apparently they decided to drive rather than fly. Maybe she really was hoping to escape all the madness in LA and hide away, but since it's Brit, there is no way that could happen. Either way, we don't think this is the best game plan.

Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out after un-Carrie Bradshaw-ing herself with a darker dye job at Serge Normant at John Frieda in NYC yesterday. Bella wants to know if you're loving this look, but I think SJP is one of those women who can pull off pretty much any hair color. Day-to-day Sarah Jessica's fashion can range from the relatively mundane (like here) to the totally abstract, but she's usually just stunning on the red carpet. It's no surprise, then, that she made it on Fab's best dressed ever at the Golden Globes slideshow. Sigh, even if we're not getting the awards show glamor, it's fun to reminisce...and play to win.

'Tis the season for tropical vacations, and Leo jumped right on the bandwagon with Bar and BFF/vacation buddy, Lukas Haas, jetting to the Grenadine Islands yesterday. The whole crew took a little break from relaxing in the sun to play some beach volleyball where Leo got to show off his moves for his girlfriend. Although the movie The Beach may not have been a huge hit, Leo doesn't deny himself the pleasure of the joys the beautiful places have to offer and we can't blame him, we just hope Leo's not suffering too much separation anxiety being away from his new favorite toy.

• On how she's feeling: “Fantastic! Right now I have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go. My skin is aglow from all the hormones. I actually wear less make-up now, which is really good. I want to stay pregnant forever.”
• On waiting to name the baby: “People are always saying, ‘You mean you haven’t picked out a name yet? But I don’t know how you name a baby until you meet it."

Sounds like Halle is ready to ride out the rest of her pregnancy on a ray of sunshine. Clearly her hormones are working in her favor, as she remains gorgeous and emotionally excited for whatever comes next.
