The Golden Globes may not be going on as hoped, but that doesn't mean that the swag suites will all go to waste. Some — sorry guys — not-so-A-Listers were out in LA yesterday at the Kari Feinstein Winter Style Lounge to get their hands on some of the free stuff. Some of the first in line included Entourage's Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rex Lee, and Jeremy Piven. Chuck's Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez brought a whole new level of meaning to posing fiercely in their fur vests. I'm sure they took those bad boys home. I'm thinking that most of the actual nominees who are boycotting the awards won't be swooping in to snag the swag, but who knows, perhaps the draw of free free free is too much to bear for some.

• Former rivals Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel, who hadn't spoken in six years, appeared on each other's late-night shows yesterday. Getting celebrity guests must be really hard to do if shows are resorting to booking other hosts. — E! Online
• After announcing the nominees for the annual Writers Guild Awards, in which Juno and No Country For Old Men got nods for their screenplays, the striking writers announced that their awards gala will be postponed until after the strike is resolved. Yet another awards show takes a hit. — Reuters

After her quick trip to Mexico, Britney was back in LA with Adnan Ghalib last night. She cuddled up with a pup (find out how to get London's cute sweater here), before pulling out the pink wig and trashy jacket to hit up the gas stations. Not exactly classy, but a bit of good news is that Britney hasn't been abusing her boys. Last week Jayden James was taken to the hospital along with his mom to get some bruises checked out, but it turns out that they were bites from Sean Preston. Sad and alarming to hear about the bruises, but thankfully everyone is healing right now.

Ashley Tisdale was all about comfort while hitting the stores in LA yesterday. In true high school fashion, Tisdale was talking to us through her clothes or in this case her hat. Perhaps she's trying to tell us that she's over all the plastic surgery buzz she created last month. Ashley's already moving on and trying to prove that her nose job won't ruin her career by signing on for her first major movie role. Unfortunately, the movie about alien invasion doesn't sound like much of a winner.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were spotted somewhere other than the airport for a change. After recently arriving back in LA, they had a romantic date night at Mastro's Steakhouse. The matching outfits with white shirts to show off their tans is cute and all but thankfully Vanessa added some color with her matching red shoes and clutch. As usual, this globe-trotting couple won't be grounded for long. In a few weeks they'll probably be heading to the Super Bowl, perhaps to rub elbows with other celebrity couples like Tom and Gisele or Tony and Jessica which of course could be a bit awkward but very interesting.
