Jennifer Garner wasn't messing around with the Winter weather as she and Violet bundled up for their daily NYC stroll yesterday. Violet, who wore one of her many hats, was busy showing off her famous healthy eating habits with a handy snack of Stoned Wheat Thins. For other babies who are inspired by Violet's well-known wardrobe, Lil found her chic gray coat — on sale! A little bit of icy wind must have gotten to Jennifer, because she sneezed mid-walk. Hopefully that's not a sign of sickness to come, because Jennifer needs her health for that grueling Broadway schedule. And not to mention that Violet needs her favorite park and walking buddy.
Gossip Girl Rundown: Episode 12, "School Lies" While last night's Gossip Girl advertised itself as the first of a two-part episode, there's really only one plot line that remains in limbo: Blair-Chuck-Nate (aka, your favorite love triangle of the year). Well, that and the mystery of whatever happened to little Jenny Humphrey.
Michael Vartan arrived in Melbourne today for some serious poker tournament. Sounds like something one of the characters on Big Shots would do, but not his. Vartan plays the one real endearing guy on the show about rich CEO men BSing about acting like women. Unfortunately we're not so sure how long we'll get to watch Michael on the small screen. After being shelved for a few weeks, ABC is bringing back Big Shots to air three more episodes. Depending on how well these do will determine whether or not the struggling drama will be picked up — that is, assuming this sad writers' strike ever comes to an end. Maybe a second career as a poker champion isn't such a bad idea after all.
Isla Fisher smiled big as she took precious baby Olive out to the grocery store in LA yesterday. We're loving all this celebrity baby cuteness we're kicking off the new year with. As usual, Isla is looking adorable as well and as much as we're over the celebrity fedora look, Isla might be an exception to the rule. Fav new papa of 2007 Sacha Baron Cohen left the shopping to his ladies this time around, but we bet he's been spending lots of time with his favorite girls when he's not promoting Sweeney Todd.
Sarah Michelle Gellar Prinze and Freddie must have gotten the memo that Hawaii is the place to be — the couple was spotted hitting the waves on New Year's Eve. Methinks they may have kissed their way into the new year despite some bumps and bruises from a day trying to surf. Hey, at least they both got up on the boards; nice job guys! While it looks like SMG could have left the non-waterproof mascara at home, at least she was in the right gear to keep herself from any embarrassing slip ups. How cute is Freddie laughing at her?
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
