Reese and Jake stopped for coffee (twice!) while out on a leisurely stroll in LA shopping on Saturday afternoon. They stopped to pet cute puppies and point at balloons, you know, act generally endearing and adorable. I gotta say, I'm loving Jake with a little bit of that scruff these days, h-o-t. While I'm thinking that these two are going to be keeping things a little more low key tonight than some other celebrities, I'm sure they'll be having fun ringing in 2008 with a kiss. Mary-Kate Olsen looks like she forgot to wash her hair (still not the worst locks of the year, mind you), but who can blame her because she was busy remembering other very very important things like what booze to buy for her party. The pint sized rich girl was spotted stocking up at a West Hollywood liquor store on Saturday. Along with some bottles of the hard stuff, girlfriend had some help carrying a case of Corona out to her car. Hey, if you're not going to spend NYE on the beach in Mexico, you might as well drink like you are. Hopefully MK (and all of you) keep it fun and safe as we all ring in 2008!

Who knew Matt Damon and Robert Downey Jr were friends? The twosome were out with their wives in Miami this weekend dining at Quattro Gastronomia. It seems like such an odd pairing, but maybe the boys are pairing up sometime soon on the big screen. Lucky Luciana looks thrilled as usual as she should be landing the Sexiest Man Alive this year who also is currently tied for first place as your favorite male star of the year! Matt clearly had a huge year, and we couldn't be happier, but we're also a longtime fan of Downey Jr.'s so hopefully with Iron Man in '08 we can expect big things from him as well.

Fergie took the stage at The Borgata Hotel Saturday night in Atlantic City and then played host at mur.mur for an after party. She flashed a huge smile as she walked the red carpet solo, and she also wasn't shy about showing off her new bling ring while performing. However, while we've been hoping to get some juicy details on Fergie's engagement, it sounds like Fergie may never let the secret out. She said, "I'm not giving any details. I think [the fine points] are sacred. It's just important to us. [But] it's hard for me because I have a big mouth."

Britney Spears kept herself all covered up (and her "hair" looking surprisingly decent) out shopping for some music at Virgin Records on Friday night in LA. She's been the most talked about celebrity of 2007 (winning in a landslide), but thankfully hasn't been making any big stories to close out the year with that deposition just around the corner. While I'm thinking she'll probably show up at a party or two tonight, hopefully, she won't be the story tomorrow morning. Who knows, there's always a chance that Britney's resolution for 2008 is to slow things down a bit? After the nonstop headline-fest that was her 2007...well, at least wishful thinking never hurts.
