In case you missed it, Mischa Barton had quite an interesting day yesterday, getting charged with a DUI, having her mugshot taken, and being bailed out of jail by her mom. According to TMZ, Mischa blew a .12 on her breathalyzer test, was in possession of prescription pills, and had been smoking marijuana earlier that day (no surprises there). While this sounds like the kind of situation that immediately sends starlets to rehab, she's still set to host a New Year's Eve party at the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas. Apparently the news didn't put off the club whose rep said, “We are aware of Mischa Barton's incident last night, but at present she is still expected to host the CatHouse Grand Opening at Luxor Las Vegas on December 29th. We will let you know if anything changes." We still think she'll pull out of her duties, but if not, let's hope she keeps herself out of more trouble while in sin city.

Lindsay Lohan finished up putting in the quality family time on Long Island yesterday, but not before helping her littlest sibling Cody get himself a new cell phone. Texting is obviously an important part of that family bond. From there, it was off to JFK for Lindsay with her LV luggage rolling behind. She seems to have gotten a freshened up blonde dye job since Christmas, but I do wish that seeing Cody's ginger locks would inspire her to return to her roots. While Lindsay has been relaxing with her family (and spending some QT with friends like Adrian Grenier), her lawyers are still muddling through that 2005 accident now denying claims that she had been drinking beforehand. Here's to that case finally getting settled in '08.

Fergie Fergs didn't have a huge grin on her face, but she was showing off her new engagement ring bling (check out a close up of it here) stepping out in Brentwood yesterday afternoon. We haven't heard many details yet about the proposal or their wedding plans, but hopefully we will soon enough. These two make up one of my favorite couples in Hollywood these days since they always seem to have fun (and lots of laughs) together. I'm sure their wedding, whenever they choose to walk down the aisle, will be anything but ordinary.

Jessica Alba looks to have a cute little belly growing but from the recent pics of her heading to and from the gym it looks like she plans to stay super fit during her pregnancy. She originally said no shotgun wedding for her but perhaps Jessica's changed her mind now that she has that fancy new ring on her finger. Pregnant and engaged - this isn't the first time this year we've heard these two words in this order and so far many of those other headline folks haven't gotten married yet. Alba always struck me as a more traditional kind of girl to get married first but Hollywood is continuing on with this trend and it looks like Jessica is going to keep us guessing as well.

Natalie Portman made her way through LAX on Wednesday, trying to keep a low profile behind the New York Times. We know that Natalie is a woman of the world and a big philanthropist, but she's also one of our favorite stylish young celebrities. She's even going to try her hand at designing her own vegan shoe collection for Te Casan. Natalie's clearly got an eye for fashion, and we can't wait to check out her animal-friendly wares.

Orlando Bloom looked smoking hot and pretty cool out with his doggie in LA yesterday. Even that big fluffy white pup can't keep its eyes off the movie star manjoyment. Can't say I blame her (or him) for wanting to get a good look at the handsome. Ha, love it. Due to the undeniable adorableness of Kelly O and her pug (awwww!), Orlando and Sidi didn't win the favorite celeb/pet twinsie set of 2007. Hey, keep up outings like this one, and maybe lose the stache on Orlando, there's always next year, right?
