Halle Berry looked gorgeous showing off her curves presenting to Benicio del Toro at Monday's ACLU awards, but covered up her baby bump with lots of black fabric while heading out to visit a friend in LA yesterday. 2007 has been a big year for Halle — between her movies, honors and starting the family she's always wanted with her hot model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. We bet she's looking forward to all the surprises of 2008 as well, and even if marriage isn't in the cards for her and Gabriel we can't wait to see this beautiful couple with their new little one.
Idol Will Give Back Again American Idol is bringing back its behemoth charity event, Idol Gives Back, for another round in the spring. The 2007 version raised $75 million for various US and global charities, including programs to fight poverty in Africa. The Idol contestants all sang favorite inspirational songs during the competition portion of the event, and the next night tons of stars took the stage to urge people to pull out their wallets.
The stars of Heroes came out today in support of their writers in LA. Masi Oka, Kristen Bell and Ali Larter were a few of the celebs that showed the love for the WGA at the picket lines. Hayden wasn't around, but maybe she's resting up for announcing the Golden Globe nominees tomorrow morning. Hopefully, the WGA won't picket the show and our heroes will still be walking the red carpet at the awards next month. The show is one of the few that actually had a mid-season finale, but we still can't wait for the next chapter when, hopefully, the writers come back with bigger and better plot lines than ever.

While the end of 2006 brought both lifetime highs — the birth of Dannielynn, her wedding to Howard K. Stern — and lows — the death of her son Daniel — to Anna Nicole Smith, everyone hoped that 2007 would finally be a time of peace. Sadly, this was never to be, as she unexpectedly passed away on February 8 in a situation that seemed scarily shady from the get go. From that moment we were thrust into a 24/7 new cycle of Anna stories from the questionable paternity of her child to a judge who was all about the showmanship. No one was shocked when Larry Birkhead turned out to be the father and, somehow, the unlikely hero of the whole mess. He seems to be living peacefully and happily with his daughter now, while Howard K. Stern remains a part of her life. Anna Nicole Smith will always be remembered as one of the biggest headlines of this year, and hopefully in 2008 she will finally rest in peace.
Janet Jackson has a new album coming that's due out in February, and we've got the first single right here. The song, which premiered on Z100 this morning, is called "Feedback" and it's an upbeat dance track. We have a feeling that we'll be hearing more of this one all over the place in the coming months. The foursome don't look quite as chic as their on-screen counterparts (we can't imagine Charlotte wearing snow boots), but we love that they're still hanging out together even when off camera. Yesterday we heard that there is already talk of movie sequels, but perhaps the producers should wait to see how their first film fares at the box office.
