We were missing our fix of Gossip Girl, but it looks like Chace Crawford has found other ways to entertain us until we wait for next week's episode. Yesterday he helped donate gifts at a Toys "R" Us toy drive in NYC, with the help of Maggie Moo. It looks like the costumed cow was getting a little frisky with Chace, but apparently Carrie Underwood might have something to say about that. Despite rumors that he was getting kissy with his co-star Leighton, Chace and Carrie were partying it up and dancing at Marquee last night, eventually leaving together. Leighton has also denied the rumors about her and Chace, so it sounds like the only competition Carrie has to worry about right now is from the cow.

Looks like the weather in NYC was far from pleasant yesterday, but that wasn't about to stop Jen and Violet from braving the cold to grab some breakfast at a coffee shop. They may be settled into NYC life but it turns out not all their new neighbors are happy to have them in their hood. In fact, Howard Stern is one of those people and he was bitching about how the family was plaguing their block and having the paparazzi crowd him while they wait for the Afflecks. Maybe he's just pissed they weren't there for him in the first place.

Jennifer Lopez traded in her usually sky-high heels for some simple ballet flats and an incognito hat out shopping in NYC with her family yesterday. If she was out shopping for more baby stuff, I'm sure we'll hear all about it soon enough because her purchases/baby registry stuff has thus far easily found its way to the public. Since finishing up her brief tour with Marc and announcing her pregnancy, Jennifer has been laying pretty low for the past few months while they get ready for baby (or, you know, babies). Can't wait to see her little one(s) when he/she comes next year, and I think we can already secure her a place on favorite new mama of 2008 list.

Eva Longoria was full of smiles shooting a L'Oreal commercial in LA yesterday because she got a special visit from her husband Tony Parker. In the wake of the affair rumors, Eva kept things positive throwing a huge dinner for his whole team at their home (no trouble in paradise there, none at all) and she brought Sheryl Crow to see his game last night. Tony was in town with the Spurs to play the Lakers, but Tony is on the injured list so watched his team lose from the sidelines. In slightly better news for Tony, the chick that is making the salacious claims already has a bad reputation. According to TMZ this isn't the first time she's been in a situation with a professional athlete — last year soccer player Ronaldinho sued her for saying that he was out partying before the world cup. Blah, she sounds like bad news. Hopefully she goes away, and soon.

George Clooney was all business at the Nobel Peace Prize Summit last night, but he and Sarah lightened up at the new Belstaff store opening afterwards. Something tells us Sarah and her Loubs were more interested in the fashion than Clooney was, but at least he looks like he was enjoying himself and continuing the fun with Don. We'll begrudgingly admit that it's nice to see George so happy, but if from Rome they go to spend Christmas at Lake Como, well, talk about jealousy.
