Oprah Winfrey hit the Barack Obama campaign trail this weekend, starting in Des Moines on Saturday before hitting South Carolina and New Hampshire on Sunday. In Iowa she spoke to 10,000 and by the time she got to SC there were 30,000 out to watch the media mogul support the presidential candidate. Even Oprah herself admitted to being nervous up there, but quickly gained momentum during her 17 minute speech where she was anything but shy about her support of and admiration for Barack. She said, "There are those who say it's not his time, that he should wait his turn. Think about where you'd be in your life if you'd waited when people told you to...I'm sick of politics as usual...We need Barack Obama."

Going on, "I understand the difference between the Book Club and a free refrigerator...I understand the difference between that and this critical moment in our nation's history...Over the years, I have voted for as many Republicans as I have Democrats...This isn't about partisanship for me. This is very, very personal. I'm here because of my personal conviction about Barack Obama and what I know he can do for America." While Oprah is just about as big as it gets in terms of star power, who knows what kinds of celebrities she'll inspire. Will Smith, for one, is ready to pack his bags at a moment's notice to join Obama. What do you think — were you paying attention to the Oprah-bama tour this weekend?

Paris Hilton spent her Sunday shopping in Miami in her typically understated style — from the dress, to the sunglasses, to the Chanel bag, to the paparazzi entourage. She was in town all weekend to promote her fragrance, enjoy Art Basel and apparently trail her ex Stavros Niarchos around town like a puppy. According to Page Six she followed him from club to club, screaming at him for attention and at one point even getting into a physical altercation with his date. Naturally, her rep denies the whole thing. After all the stories that he's been spending time with LL again, jealous Paris seems to be out to win him back. Poor Alex Vaggo.

Rachel Bilson and her (boyfriend/co-star/not-sure-what-to-refer-to-these-two-as) Hayden Christensen had a weekend of fun together promoting their upcoming movie Jumper in Las Vegas. The co-stars were joined by Samuel L. Jackson where Hayden sported his favorite blue scarf. They also hit the stage as presenters at Spike TV's Video Game Awards. Rachel looked cute in her sparkly top while Hayden reminded us how hot he can be - hello hoodie! We bet Rachel felt right at home at the awards show with fellow Josh Schwartz all-stars Kristen Bell, Joshua Gomez and Zachary Levi. Hopefully, this time around she and Kristen managed to coordinate wearing different shoes.

Leonardo DiCaprio hid his manjoyment (mostly) behind all that facial hair at the opening ceremony of the seventh annual Marrakesh International Film Festival on Friday. Leo's friend and director Martin Scorsese was there to present the actor with an honorary award at the festival. The two are set to work together again on Shutter Island and at the festival Martin described Leo saying, "I never fail to be amazed by his clear and complete commitment to his work." I'll just say that hopefully, his commitment to that goatee for Body of Lies is something that ends when filming stops. Mmmm, still pretty dreamy, right?

A-Listers flocked to Sin City on Saturday night to get ringside seats at the Hatton/Mayweather fight. We're talking some serious heavy hitters, and that's not even counting the men of the night — Angelina, Brad, Gwen, Gavin, Becks, Kid Rock, Denzel, the list goes on. Unfortunately, British all-star Hatton couldn't hold up to Mayweather, who won the fight knocking out Hatton in the 10th round. It seems like a break from the norm for some of these celebrities — David Beckham had a night off from the Spice Girls, Brad and Angelina took some time off from their projects and Gwen and Gavin weren't on tour. Hey, nothing like a little bloody action for a relaxing night on the town, right?

George Clooney made sure not one single hair was out of place as he walked the red carpet for the premiere of Michael Clayton at the Dubai International Film Festival. He brought along his girlfriend and although we have gotten used to Sarah on his arm we wanted to pull him as far away from Sharon Stone as possible. Run, George, Run! Luckily it didn't seem to last long. The National Board of Review just named George Best Actor for his role in Michael Clayton so he must be feeling confident about the premiere and upcoming Oscar buzz. Along with this great win, after Dubai George is headed to Rome to be honored with his co-star and good friend Don Cheadle by the Nobel Peace Laureates. Looks like 2007 is going to end on a high note for Clooney - not that he isn't used to the great life.

It's that time of the day again when we take a look at what Britney did all weekend as her every move was followed. Apparently, she purchased a new pup and celebrated with some serious Starbucks snacks. She also hung out at the Four Seasons Hotel... again. The biggest weekend headline was that she stole a lighter from a gas station. Methinks she didn't even mean to but the gas station owner made enough of a stink to make major headlines over a lighter that costs less than $2. Hopefully she'll make it up (a photographer went and paid off her debt already), but we think she has bigger issues to clear up first.

On a side note, Britney happened to be our inspiration for the YumSugar gingerbread contest. Check out our Britney inspired creation with the pool, tennis court, pacifiers and all by clicking here. For more pictures of Britney and her new puppy and lighter just read more
