George Clooney strapped on his motorcycle helmet to go for a ride around LA yesterday. His girlfriend Sarah still seems to be opting out of the bike rides, but unsurprisingly, is always up for a swanky dinner date. Our dislike (or more like admitted jealousy) of Miss Larson might be thinly veiled, but based on your votes for best new couple of 2007, it looks like we're not alone. Of course, we're glad just to see George happy, but we won't be shedding many tears if he and Sarah happen to land on the list of 2008 breakups.

Patrick Dempsey is on top of the world, and it shows. Dr. McDreamy with a haircut hopped into his Porsche in LA yesterday looking every bit the movie star. Not only that, but he's just been named as the face of Versace for the next two years, which is the longest amount of time yet for one person at the fashion house. Well played, Dempsey. As for last night's Grey's Anatomy — another tear jerker, eh? And, um, don't want to have any spoilers for those of you saving it on the TiVo for a weekend treat...but how about that McDreamy/Meredith stuff? Mmmm, always keeping it interesting.

With Reese up in San Francisco filming with Vince, it was more boys' time for Ryan and Deacon in LA yesterday. Daddy Ryan brought his adorable son to football practice, which clearly excited Deacon to no end. Considering his love for the sport, it's no wonder why getting out on the field with his little buddies makes him so happy. Yays. He is just too cute for words, and it looks like he's got his cone organization down to a science.

I'm still recovering from last night's ER-like intense episode of Grey's where it looks like things with Izzie and George might be finally going in a better direction. For those of you who want to delve into the specifics of last night's show, click here. As for the day-to-day life of Katherine Heigl, an afternoon spent running errands with her fab Valentino bag might seem mundane if they were done by anyone else, but for her, it must have been fascinating. At least it would be according to Barbara Walters, who named Heigl one of the Ten Most Fascinating People of 2007. More important, Katherine is speaking out about all the VF drama. She wanted to clear the air on her recent statements and People reports:

"It's important to me to take a minute and clarify the quote about Knocked Up in Vanity Fair. I was responding to previous reviews about the movie the interviewer brought to my attention. My motive was to encourage other women like myself to not take that element of the movie too seriously and to remember that it's a broad comedy."

"Although I stand behind my opinion, I'm disheartened that it has become the focus of my experience with the movie. The truth is, it was the best filming experience of my career. Every person that was a part of making Knocked Up helped to encourage, support and inspire me. I never intended for anyone to think otherwise."

Back in London after their Mexican vacation, Sienna and Rhys returned to rainy British weather and to some very good news. Sienna, who had filed a lawsuit against two British newspapers for publishing nude photos of her on the set of Hippie Hippie Shake, won her case — and a $76,000 settlement. She seems pretty content with her win and her man, and as for Rhys, he looks like he accidentally left his sunscreen in the UK during their trip to Mexico. While these two are still in the honeymoon phase, they didn't make the cut for our favorite new couples of 2007.
