Kate Moss and Jamie got into the spirit on Saturday night at an eighties themed birthday bash for Kate's friend and occasional housemate Davinia Taylor. Kate was decked out in pigtails and her favorite leggings, while Jamie went with a puffy jacket and old-school Adidas sneakers. Kate is back in London after a trip to LA, where she shot the upcoming ad campaign for Donna Karan and a brief stop in NYC for 7th on Sale. It's nice to know that after a week of hard work modeling, Kate's ready to let her hair down (or up) for a good party.

As planned, Nicole Richie was joined by friends and family for her big fancy baby shower at the Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday. Paris cohosted the Wizard of Oz themed event, which included guests like Nicky, Rashida Jones, and Samantha Ronson. InStyle was inside for all the fun, check out their gallery of party photos. Even though Nicole and Joel asked their guests to donate gifts to charity, some guests couldn't resist buying something for the little one — including a pair of sneakers for a baby boy and a maternity shirt with a boy on the front. Supposedly the couple doesn't know the sex of their baby yet, but these gifts are pretty suggestive that their little one may be getting a few more blue items in the future.

It really is another day, another drama for "Miss Bad Media Karma" herself, Britney Spears. While her weekend was relatively quiet on the gossip front, today there are quite a few Brit updates. First, we learned that Kevin will get the boys for Thanksgiving, though Britney will be able to have a turkey day celebration with the boys on Wednesday and visit with them on Thursday morning. Next, Life & Style is reporting that Britney and her brother are in legal trouble for trashing a condo they leased in Marina Del Ray in 2006. Britney has also apparently hired two new important people in her life — a driver (finally) and a private eye to try to dig up dirt on Kevin. She is supposedly hoping that they can catch Kevin in the act of smoking or drinking in front of the kids in order to have some leverage in the custody battle. Just when I think it can't get any more complicated, it always does.

Julia Roberts and Danny Moder stepped out to get some groceries in LA over the weekend (parking in a handicapped spot — tsk, tsk). They looked like any average couple running errands, but before you know it she's back in movie star mode. This afternoon she sat down with Oprah and Tom Hanks, her costar in Charlie Wilson's War, to talk and laugh about life and how hard it is to commit to making movies these days. She said:

I just made a decision to make a movie next year, and I found it was almost too big of a decision because I don't make it a lot...I'm out of the practice of making the decision...It's a real team effort in our house...Everything that goes on has to sort of pass everybody's approval. Danny and the kids, everybody has to want to go and be part of it or else it doesn't work. Moms know [what it's like] when you leave the house, and your kids are crying and saying, 'Don't go.' So I usually don't go."
Lucky for Julia, if she decides never to go back to work again methinks that her family would subsist just fine. Hopefully she, Danny and their little ones will have a nice relaxing Thanksgiving before Julia has to kick into full blown promotion mode for Charlie Wilson.

Matilda Ledger looked adorable in her multi-colored accessories getting a ride around NYC on her dad's shoulders Saturday afternoon. Heath is already passing down his unique sense of style, but luckily she's not mixing stripes yet. Heath seems like he's in his happy element with Matilda, but apparently things were a little different at a press junket for I'm Not There last week yelling at a reporter to wake up after she started to doze off during the Q & A segment. At least it looks like Matilda's got an appreciation for her dad's new role, she's already carrying around a Bob Dylan signature — her harmonica.
