Nicole Richie treated herself to lunch at Maria's Italian Kitchen in Sherman Oaks on Wednesday, but Thanksgiving was all about other people when she and Samantha Ronson volunteered at a local homeless shelter. As usual, Samantha looked thrilled to be there. After her charitable baby shower and now this, maybe this pregnancy means a whole new Nicole in more ways than just skipping the club scene. Not bad at all.

Fergie was spotted double fisting some Jamba Juices in Brentwood the day before Thanksgiving. Like the healthy, super fit singer she is, Fergie wanted to save some room before feasting on her big meal prepared by a professional chef for her and Josh. Must be nice to have that kind of help but it takes a little bit of the fun out of things if you ask me. I love cooking with my family this time of year. Fergie's clearly thankful to be home for the holiday this year and from the relaxed look on her face it shows.

After spending Thanksgiving morning with her boys, in the evening Britney Spears stopped off at a Virgin Megastore before heading back to the Four Seasons Hotel where she basically lives. Perhaps she was buying up an armload of Blackout to boost her lagging album sales which have gone from decent, but not No.1 to cringe worthy in the month that it's been out. Ouch. Well hey, maybe her new single "Piece of Me" (which is my favorite track on the album) will push her back up the charts for the holiday season. If not, at least she's supposedly got a new boy to comfort her.

Yesterday David Beckham celebrated the 2nd anniversary of his soccer academy in London. There were over a hundred kids there to play and party with the soccer superstar who was also in "mourning" over England's huge loss to Croatia. The day before the celebration, the national team lost 3-2 resulting in not qualifying for Euro 2008. Beckham said, "It wasn't pretty. It was frustrating, disappointing. The nation is in mourning and rightly so with the players we have got, the team we have got, the support we have got and always will have." This is a huge bummer for Beckham who had recently spoken out about how much he wished to play for the team. It's a good thing he was able to be surrounded by kids who were able to put a smile on his face.

Heidi and Seal sure do love their face paint. Halloween? Face paint for sure! Thanksgiving? What the hell, let's do face paint. Even little Henry shares his parents' passion. This time, Heidi and Seal were all painted up for a Volkswagen presentation on Wednesday, part of being the car company's new spokescouple. It looks like they're having fun with it too, but we all know it doesn't take much to entertain Heidi. Love them. From here I'm sure it was straight home to the kitchen to cook that big family Thanksgiving, or something. And how could we talk about Heidi without bringing up the triumphant return of Project Runway — Wednesday night was another awesome episode, check out Buzz's recap here.
