Esquire honored its favorite performances of 2007 — Denzel Washington, Cate Blanchett, Javier Bardem, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr. and Emile Hirsch — with two different cute covers for their December issue. Looks like the six had a lot of fun goofing around during their shoot, especially Jakey G and Robert. The magazine has short blurbs about each of their picks, though we're most impressed with Cate being the only woman in the group. She was chosen for playing a man, however, as the stand out Bob Dylan in I'm Not There. Unfortunately beyond Cate, Buzz didn't love the movie — check out her review here.
Christina slipped herself into a cozy winter white sweater dress and her arm into Jordan's for a special dinner at Amalfi in LA to celebrate their second wedding anniversary last night. We know how tough it is for celebrities to keep their relationships strong while living in the spotlight, but Christina and Jordan still seem to be just as in love as when they first got together. Once the baby arrives these two will probably be a little too busy for as much romantic time alone, but we're glad to see that they're squeezing in lots of date nights before they welcome their little boy.
All the PYT's from High School Musical were out in LA on Monday to celebrate the release of HSM2 on DVD. While Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens had a little cuddly time on the red carpet, the gang was all about charity as the event benefited a LA children's hospital. And even though the night's focus was on the second movie, the buzz was about how the cast is in talks to join up again for a third installment. Vanessa, for one, said, "I am so very excited... to do a third one for the big screen, I can't begin to think how much fun we'll have." After a bit of an iffy time in the middle there (uh, you know why), I can only imagine that Vanessa is extra thrilled to be back on screen playing Gabriella next to her heartthrob boyfriend.
Patrick Dempsey and cute Tallulah were all packed up as they left their house in LA on Sunday and headed to NYC to promote Enchanted all over. He must be excited that his new movie is kid friendly, because his little ones are a bit too young to watch daddy on Grey's Anatomy. At Saturday's Enchanted premiere, Patrick weighed in on the movie but also joked about losing the title of People's Sexiest Man Alive to Matt Damon. He said, "Always a bridesmaid, never a bride." Considering Patrick is known as McDreamy, he's got no reason to be jealous. Plus, we all know how hot he looks in a bridesmaid dress.
Tallulah might be a bit young to be giving her dad presents other than homemade (without the help of mom, of course) but if you're in need of inspiration check out our holiday gift guides for some helpful hints — this week it's all about what to give dad.
Rachel Bilson and her Thurman Murman shared a moment at LAX yesterday afternoon. Rachel was happy to give a little smile for the cameras, but Thurman was really all about the kisses. Too cute. R-Bils was (naturally) a real treat on Chuck last night — side note, I want her wardrobe both on screen and off — but I'm sad that she's gone already. Hopefully, she'll be back to star in something soon, preferably a Josh Schwartz teen drama, but any show will do. It's good to see that after her time in NYC, she's back with Thurman at home for Thanksgiving. I'm sure that he's more than a little excited for the big day (full of scraps).
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
