John Mayer looked a little lonesome leaving Butter last night without Minka by his side, even though he's proved he can party it up all by himself. We all know that John is much more than a party animal — he's also a blogger (and a musician of course). In his latest entry, John tells us what pop music we should be listening to, highlighting our old friend Justin Timberlake. Here's what John had to say about JT's "LoveStoned":

Justin Timberlake — Not so much for the "Lovestoned" part, but for the 45 seconds of ultimate sonic bliss that is "I Think She Knows." It's JT's breakthrough moment as an artist; a novel mix of Coldplay guitar lines, hip hop beats, and a vocal approach somewhere in between. When that track comes on I spend the first 3:30 preparing for the awesomeness to come. Then I yell at the speakers, "Make this 4 minutes long and put it on the next disc!"
Most of you prefer Justin's uptempo tracks, but it sounds like John is disagreeing with you. Considering how much JT loves his collaborations, maybe he and John will team up to treat us to the ultimate love ballad someday.

Jenny McCarthy got in some last minute pre-Thanksgiving pink shoes workout time in LA yesterday. While Jenny's been tirelessly promoting her new book around the country, Jim's been around town filming Yes Man. Hopefully, this means that they're planning a big family turkey day celebration. Yays. Jenny's got a head start on working off that meal already, which deserves many golf claps. For me, I'll just be changing my focus from Yum to Fit.

So my two old friends from my advertising days started a contest. You can compete to win $50,000 and one of them as your new husband. The men up for grabs are Zach and Tanner. Trust me when I say they are complete sweethearts and really fun guys. Any woman would be lucky to marry one of them. The last time Zach ventured into the online world he scored himself $10,000 to go on a date of a lifetime with Lady Sovereign. I think this venture is way cooler only because I am not a huge fan of the rapper, but I am of these guys. The other fun part of the contest - you get to vote on the women you want to win the game. Check out more here about Zach and Tanner and all the ladies in the running so far. Should be interesting to watch this whole thing unfold.
Paris Hilton had a quick week in the states where she managed to party, pole dance, and host a baby shower, but she's already back overseas. The heiress landed in Shanghai and is gearing up for the 2007 MTV Style Gala on Friday, where she will make her Chinese television debut. Hopefully she'll find something a little more chic to wear than those teal sweats and clashing hoodie. We guess this all means there won't be a seat at the Hilton family Thanksgiving table for Paris this year, but we're sure she'll still find some way to celebrate.

Heath Ledger stayed out of the NYC rain with a stylish purple umbrella yesterday afternoon. It's a good thing he figured out how to clip his keys to his belt loop because there's no way he was getting it in his pocket — hey now, tight pants. From that umbrella on down to his shoelaces he's really quite coordinated with his purple and red accessories. He's nowhere near as cute as when he's got little Matilda on his shoulders, but at least he's got an eye for color.
