A patio table at Joan's on Third was a paparazzi dream as Nicole Richie, Audrina and Lauren from The Hills, and Samantha Ronson met up to celebrate a mutual friend's birthday yesterday. Nicole snapped some photos with her camera while the one dude looks like he told quite a story. Remember when there was supposedly drama between LC and Nicole over Brody? Lauren and him are still complicated, but Nicole's whole life (and baby) status is night and day from then. What a difference a year makes. Speaking of old drama and rumors, Samantha hasn't been spending much time with her BFF Lindsay since she returned to LA after rehab. Maybe they don't have much in common since LL bowed out of the club scene. Don't worry though, we all know those Hills girls are keeping her seat warm.

Chuck was one of our favorite new fall shows but we have to admit it needs a pick me up. Luckily, it's about to happen. Next week is the official long-anticipated arrival of the adorable Rachel Bilson, and these stills from the show are only increasing our excitement. Of course, we're mostly excited to see that Rachel is still rockin' the same type of adorable wardrobe we saw during her O.C. days. Also, is it just us, or do she and Zachary Levi already look totally cute together? In fact, they would probably look just as good as an off-screen couple. Just saying.

Activist Actresses Angelina Jolie and Meg Ryan got together with some very noteworthy women in Beverly Hills last night for the International Women's Media Foundation's 18th Annual Courage in Journalism Awards. The honorees, from Mexico, Ethiopia, and Iraq, were awarded last week in DC, but were happy to have another time on the red carpet together in LA last night. Obviously Angelina, Maria Shriver and Meg Ryan were happy to be able to host the women in LA last night, too. Look at that grin! Earlier this year, Angelina received critical acclaim playing an extremely courageous female in A Mighty Heart and she obviously greatly admires the work of women dealing with intense situations all over the world. A definite big brava goes out to all these incredible women who inspire female journalists everywhere.

So far, Lindsay Lohan seems to be settling into life in LA without getting into any trouble. Perhaps getting back to work and eliminating bad influences is really working this time. She also seems to be making some real estate deals. Apparently, LL has finally sold her condo in the Sierra Towers for good. We've heard this rumor once or twice before, but maybe this time she really means it. Maybe Lindsay is looking to invest in a little love nest somewhere away from the LA club scene with her new man Riley. Of course, where ever she ends up, we're sure the paparazzi won't be far behind.

Jessica Simpson flashed her famous smile in her favorite jeans and aviators out in LA the morning after her supposed date with Owen Wilson. I was expecting a lot fewer of you to like the idea of these two together, but the more I think about it the more they might be cute, especially if they can make each other laugh. Plus, we know how she likes to match her hair to her mate's and this time she wouldn't be have to change a thing about her shaggy blonde locks. Plus, do I detect a little bit of a blush to go with those red accessories of hers? Heh, probably not.

Orlando Bloom has been having a pretty good couple of weeks since his scary car crash. Not only does he have a new lady in his life, but he also got off his hit and run scot-free. Looks like he even decided to wear his confidence on his cheeky t-shirt. The unfortunate side effect that apparently comes with his unstoppability is that the icky icky mustache is back. Also we're not quite sure wearing his dog leash as a sash is the safest thing in the world, but that's really more of a question for PetSugar.
