Nicole Kidman headed to ABC studios in NYC today to promote Margot at the Wedding after the big premiere last night. Nicole's latest movies haven't been her biggest hits, but she's hopeful that things will change in the upcoming year with Margot as well as The Golden Compass. That said, she's learned that one of the most important parts of being an actor is learning to take everything in stride, saying,

"Because time is so precious, you go, 'I wish I hadn't spent my time trying that.' But you never know how something is going to turn out. You always strive to make a good movie. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You step into something with the best of intentions and you hope. I think that kind of approach to a career, and a life, is the healthiest way to be. You just keep moving forward and try to view the world with compassion, yeah."

Nicole has definitely been through a lot, both professionally and personally and we think she has the right attitude for staying positive and keeping herself grounded.

Some of Hollywood's cell phone loving celebs came out last night to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Motorola in LA. Kelly Clarkson provided the entertainment as she took the stage in her fab juicy dress and Brittany Murphy squeezed into some serious leather boots. Scott Speedman looked scruffy cute next to clean-cut Justin Long while Audrina Patridge showed off her glowing tan in her LWD. Apparently, the Hills star is back on the market after dumping Justin Bobby for making out with another girl in front of her. We always had a feeling that he wasn't trustworthy, but luckily it looks like she's already got a new man to distract her.

It was mother/daughter date night in NYC yesterday for Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn. The duo dined at the Waverly Inn before Kate went off to meet some friends. Goldie thankfully ditched her silk pajamas and instead just brought the whole blanket from her bed as a jacket. Hey, at least it looks warm? Can't blame a girl for finding a way to keep cozy as those NY nights get colder and colder.

Sarah Jessica Parker piled on the layers to go for a stroll through NYC yesterday. It feels like it's been a while since the last time we saw SJP as herself and not as Carrie Bradshaw. We're still looking forward to seeing the film for ourselves, despite the spoilers that may or may not make it to the final cut. Chris Noth recently talked to Extra about trying to keep the fans in the dark, saying, “I don’t understand this talk of wedding… don’t believe what you see.” He also confirmed that they shoot fake scenes all the time, so hopefully, this means there will still be lots of fun surprises in store when the movie hits theaters next spring.

It was supermodel mania last night at LAX when Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova got off the same flight from London. Even paparazzi magnet Kate seemed to be taken by surprise with chaos waiting for them outside the airport. Kate might have been ranked only 10th on Harper’s best dressed list, but it’s hard to deny that she’s living up to her supermodel title by traveling in over-the-knee boots and her menswear-inspired blazer. Might there be a 1990’s supermodel revival in the works?

America Ferrera, Becki Newton, and Rebecca Romijn were just a few of the Ugly Betty cast members who grabbed signs and rallied around their writers on the picket lines yesterday. The strike can't be easy on any of the parties involved, but we bet the writers were happy to get lots of support. As for the show, we were loving Posh's super short guest spot last night. Hopefully, the writers and producers will get this whole thing settled soon because we don't know how we'll deal with no next episode if it ends with a cliffhanger like last night.
