Patrick Dempsey was spotted out to lunch in LA on Monday sporting a Brad Pitt inspired newsboy cap. After spending last Thursday picketing in support of the striking Hollywood writers, it's time for Patrick to shift gears and go promote his upcoming movie Enchanted. We're so used to seeing Patrick in McDreamy mode with the cast of Grey's Anatomy, but we're looking forward to seeing Dempsey back on the big screen where we fell for him back in his Can't Buy Me Love days.

Ben Affleck put on his best (or smallest) Hawaiian shirt and limped into a Pasadena doctor's office yesterday afternoon. He's holding down the fort in LA while his girls are back in NYC where Jennifer is making sure people get their flu shots. Clearly in their stead Ben is taking his hiatus look to new levels, but hopefully he wasn't seeing the doctor about anything too serious — Violet would miss him too much at the park if he had to sit out on any of their playdates.

While some of her fellow Heroes were off celebrating media honors, Ali Larter decided to get a little fancier at the Stormy Weather Jewelry Launch in LA last night. The fireplace and candles make this seem like a pretty intimate affair, and we bet Ali had a lot of fun checking out the jewels (and maybe even scoring some swag). Her on-screen counterpart continued to wreak havoc on last night's episode of Heroes, but off screen Ali was pretty and poised as always.

This week's Life&Style shows us some private family photos of Sean Preston and Jayden James over at Kevin's house with him and his mother. The pictures were taken back when the boys had pink eye, which is just one of the issues discussed in the article to go along with these photos. Another problem, of course, is the drug test that Britney supposedly failed. Though she originally claimed it was because of her prescriptions, the test apparently doesn't check for those substances. Instead, the positive test was for amphetamines an issue that will land Brit's and Kevin's lawyers back in court tomorrow. Meanwhile, there is the rumor that Britney went to Vegas over the weekend for secret liposuction (again). Don't know about believing that last one, but clearly her life isn't cleaning itself up anytime soon.

Christina Aguilera looked very cozy all bundled up as she left her doctor's office in LA yesterday. These days it's all about baby for the usually workaholic popstar, from pimping their crib to blue baby showers and we can't wait to find out what else her friends and family have planned for her before her big arrival. We're sure their holiday season is going to be all wrapped up in getting ready for the biggest gift of all.
