Ryan, Deacon and Ava landed at LAX last night looking a little pooped after their flight. Sleepy Deacon went straight for the thumb sucking while Ava just nuzzled up to her dad and her sweater in her cute True Religion cords. I might have been making fun of Ryan's grizzly exterior before his weekend away with his kids, but as soon as they're in his arms he is automatically hot again. I wonder what Ryan thinks about Deacon's cheese and sauce covered aspirations?

Elton John played host to all sorts of ladies at the opening of the new Chopard flagship boutique in NYC last night. There were some gorgeous women in the house to ogle all the jewels. Elizabeth Hurley kept it pretty spring-y with her choice of gown, while Maggie Gyllenhaal went more goth chic with hers. Rachel Weisz looked feminine in her ruffles, though I do wish she would smile. Holding it down for the guys was the man of the hour Elton and Adrien Brody and his deliberately loosened tie. Hey, the man can pull off a metallic suit he can pull off anything. Hopefully, everyone got a chance to enjoy the store shaped cake while admiring the shiny pretty things.

Lindsay Lohan showed up for her first day of community service yesterday about 40 minutes outside LA at the American Red Cross in Pomona. Apparently she's ready to get down to business completing her sentence of ten days of community service and one in jail for her July DUI. Though after Nicole Richie's short stint behind bars methinks she'll be checking in and then right out for that one day in jail. For now though, it's just LL helping out with people giving blood. I'll tell ya, I spent four years just a stones throw away from Pomona and there were certainly not a whole lot of starlets out and about in the community. Looks like the paparazzi found their way out to the Inland Empire just fine. Phew.

The Victoria's Secret Angels — Selita Ebanks, Adriana Lima, Izabel Goulart, Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosio — arrived at LAX today after their annual pre fashion show flight from NYC. Heidi must have flown there and then turned right around (or, you know, shown up for the photo op). Can't blame her if she phoned it in considering her busy week with ProjRun and the duet with Seal at the VS show. The big show is on Thursday, and while we'll be missing Gisele on the catwalk, there is plenty more fun to look forward to...including the triumphant return of the Spice Girls and many many ladies in underwear. Sadly, I doubt that Kanye will be there to perform as scheduled. Last year's party looked like so much fun, and here's the good news, Fab, Bella and I will be in LA this year for all the action! Jennifer Garner got bundled up to brave the NYC November weather after stopping by the Morning Show with Mike and Juliette yesterday. Winter has been rapidly approaching which means along with all the holiday fun comes sickness and sniffles. Always ready to lend a hand, Jen teamed up with other celebs yesterday to help spread the word about flu vaccines. Guess this means poor Violet probably got a shot of her own (ouch!) but we bet mommy Jen made it up to her with a play date in the park.
