As part of NBC's Green Week, Zach Braff (and the Janitor!) stopped by the Scrubs Green Fair to play with some eco-friendly vehicles yesterday afternoon. While Monday's "green Heroes" was a little weak in the environmental department, maybe Scrubs will put forth a more valiant effort. Maybe JD will trade in his trusty Vespa for a greener version. I've gone from casual rerun watcher to devout fan of the show, so the first episodes of this final season have been bittersweet. Even more so since the writers' strike may mean the 18 episode season has to be cut down to 12. Considering just last week Bill Lawrence and Zach Braff didn't know exactly how the show was going to end, I'm sure they're stuck in a very hard place trying to figure out what to do with the season. Here's to hoping that the writers' demands are met soon so they can help script the poignant and funny ending this show deserves.

Reese and Jake were spotted together again taking a morning walk around LA yesterday. These photos might not be as cute as piggy back rides in Rome, but at least we can actually see both of their faces this time around. Even though Jake was shy on Ellen (which airs today but was clearly pre-taped — check it out after the jump) when she questioned him about Reese, it looks like these two are getting more comfortable being spotted together these days. In fact, it almost looks like they just rolled out of bed. The casual couple looked cute and even a dressed down Reese knows how to be trendy and environmentally friendly.

Kristen Bell was the host (and life) of the party at last night's Maxim event at Opera nightclub in LA celebrating the video game Assassin's Creed. Seriously, the new Heroes star was air guitarring and handing out flowers and dancing up a storm with her costars. Whooo, party! That isn't to say she was the only one having fun, The Hills girls definitely know how to have a good time. Cute Zachary Levi from Chuck may be new to the Hollywood party scene, but he already fits right in alongside his costar Joshua Gomez. They'll be having girls fighting over them in clubs in no time.

We already know that Brad has been stopping by to see Angelina while she's hard at work on The Changeling, but yesterday she got a lift from one of her pint-sized boys. It looks like Pax left his brother and sisters at home but managed to make some mischief on the set all by himself. We can't believe how fast he (and his hair) is growing, and we bet his adorable little face is the perfect pick-me-up during Angie's long hours of filming.

Jay-Z was happy to pop the champagne at a Velvet Room, Atlanta party he hosted on Sunday to celebrate the release of his album, American Gangster. The album came out yesterday and Buzz has another music video for one of the tracks to help get you excited. Jay talked to the LA Times about how the album was inspired by not only the film it's named after, but the way the movie reminded him of his own life. He said,

"The album is not about the film. It connected with me on an emotional level. It was so similar to the neighborhoods that I came up in, and things that happened there. And Denzel's character as well . . . you know, his laid-back persona, that's pretty much how I am. It's really about the emotions of that life. I would take an emotion that I felt was important, or things that resonated with me . . . and make a song."
We can't decide which American Gangster we're more excited about — the movie with Denzel and Russell on the big screen or Jay's new album.
