Gwen Stefani had her little Kingston in tow as she stepped out of a rehearsal in NYC yesterday afternoon. Only Gwen's little fashionisto would rock those striped leggings with that busy sweater and pull it off. Later in the night, Gwen went with a more understated (and beautiful) glam to step out on the town. Before heading west with her tour Gwen will supposedly be a surprise guest performer tonight at Keep a Child Alive's annual Black Ball. Once again the event will be hosted by Alicia Keys and Iman and one of this year's honorees is Bono. Rumor has it that Sheryl Crow will be another of the night's secret performers along with host Alicia. The event might be a little too late night for Kingston, but no doubt if he was allowed to walk the red carpet he would be the best dressed guy there. Gotta love his comb over.
Last night many PYTs headed to the Frederick's of Hollywood fashion show to benefit the Clothes Off Our Backs Foundation in LA. Attendees included the Simpson sisters, an Olsen, High School Musical stars and Dita. Which of these things is not like the other? While Dita may standout in this crowd, she's also the one we associate most with sexy lingerie. Dita was just one of the many celebrity designers who created corsets to be auctioned off. Other guest designers included Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria, Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson. Kristen Bell, who made her debut appearance on Heroes this week, was also there to support the good cause. Jessica Simpson was clearly having a blast with her Major Movie Star co-star Cheri Oteri. Oh how we've missed Jessica's fun facial expressions.
Britney Spears looked a little more subdued than usual arriving at the Beverly Hills Hotel for her first co-parenting class with Kevin yesterday afternoon. Who has parenting class at the Beverly Hills Hotel? The Spears Federlines, of course! The ex-couple's next custody hearing isn't until tomorrow, but before then they are to have finished three of their six sessions (in which they learn how to be polite to each other, use "I" phrases, etc) and Brit has to have three individual sessions, too. Sounds like today is going be busy for both Britney and her lawyer, who told TMZ that this morning he plans to plead not guilty to Brit's misdemeanor charge for driving without a valid license. Never just a quiet Thursday for her. Just like all things Britney, this week has potential to end with some drama.
Lindsay Lohan all dressed in red treated herself to pizza, coffee, and cigarettes after her dance lesson in LA yesterday. Still no sign of her boytoy, but apparently even four mugshots aren't enough to scare away LL, or her family. In fact, Lindsay's dad Michael even talked to Extra about his daughter's new man, saying, “Riley is a good kid. He comes from a good family. It’s not about what we did in the past. It’s about righting those wrongs. I don’t think anyone has the right to judge Riley. They [Lindsay & Riley] keep each other in line. They go to meetings with one another.”
Michael loves any chance to talk to the press but at least he sounds supportive. We're doubtful, but hoping Riley really will be a good influence, since most of you feel that Ms. Lohan is going to have a hard time resisting future temptations.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
