Justin jazzed up his otherwise nondescript outfit with a pair of bright blue sneakers while running some errands in LA yesterday. JT has been unusually cheery with Jessica by his side recently but maybe he's sad today going solo or hearing that he's not quite the #1 choice of most ladies in the manly man competition. Either way, we're sure Justin will perk up soon — he's probably got a trophy case filled with awards that he can use to make himself feel better.

Ashley Olsen mixed casual (hoodie) with chic (tight little skirt) leaving the nail salon yesterday afternoon. It was definitely a day for foot pampering, because she also took a break from her heels and went for some leopard print flats. Her Weeds-starring sister didn't come along for the fun, they've both been enjoying the fashion-centric party circuit as usual these days. At least they're not making fools out of themselves stumbling out of nightclubs and getting their names in the gossip pages every day like some of their contemporaries. Hey, a little public making out is hardly salacious behavior — they're young and single after all.

Owen Wilson spent his Saturday afternoon on his favorite Malibu beach, enjoying his sanctuary before the fires really threatened the area. Prior to his afternoon of moped-ing and ocean, Owen spent some time on another non-traditional motorized vehicle last week. Owen, his brother Luke, Jessica Simpson and Dan Rather (hey random) all got together in Texas last week for a lawn-mower race in the name of Willie Nelson. The motley crew played around for the cameras filming Willie's new music video. Check out the group below and see a whole bunch more pictures from the event here. How fun is that?

Before Ben headed west to accept his award for Breakthrough Director of the year he was strolling through NYC with his ladies. Violet was back in her favorite overalls yesterday while Ben continued to show the love to his favorite team. That cap is looking a little small for him, but maybe it's from his vintage superstitious clothing item collection. It's a pretty bold move to tour NY with that kind of Boston pride, but we're thinking not many people in LA will be giving Ben a hard time.

Britney Spears inexplicably accessorized her fairly muted outfit with a hot pink bag out last night. Her regular paparazzi swarm was in tow, and yet again she hit one with her car. Whoops. Maybe they should learn to step back when she is behind the wheel? Watching the video Brit seemed sorry, though the photographer reassured her that it was his fault. A paparazzi love tap isn't the worst thing going for Brit, because her parenting coach released the first report and it's not pretty. The document says that Brit spends a lot of time on the phone and changing clothes rather than with her kids, and that she totally ignored the presence and advice of the court-mandated coach. It's no shock that Brit doesn't want to listen to other people, but this can't go over well in Friday's custody hearing.
As for that album dropping next week, some of Britney's old staff and friends are trying to band together and boycott the pop star until she cleans up her act. Maybe their intentions are good, but I somehow doubt they're going to be able to make much of a dent in her sales (whatever they may end up being).
