Cameron Diaz showed off adorable summer and fall looks on the set of What Happens in Vegas in NYC yesterday. We first saw her more business-y pencil skirt look at the end of August, so I bet Cameron was a little less stoked to be wearing it around Manhattan in the much chillier mid-October weather. No matter the temperature or location, Cameron looks every bit the gorgeous California girl. Last we saw her rumored gentleman caller, Bradley Cooper, he was filming back in LA, but I'm sure Cam has found enough fun to keep her busy in NYC. There's plenty of mischief a girl can get into in that city all by herself.
Jessica Simpson got all done up and dressed down for the cover of November's InStyle. The interview inside was done in a pretty non-traditional fashion where instead of your standard Q & A, the magazine got Jessica's sister, best friends, and costars to send questions her way. From Ashlee — What's your fave thing about having a younger sister? Oh, that is funny. My favorite thing is that she is cooler than me. I go to my sister for advice all the time, mostly about guys, life, or how to deal with a fight with mom or dad. You'd think she was older. I had to go through life first, and she say the choices I made, good and bad. She can look at my life and be, like, "OK, I'm not going to do it this way." I might be a little more jaded, but it's exciting for me to see her making good choices.
From Rachel Leigh Cook — I've never seen you angry or in a bad mood. What is that like? I love that — that's so sweet! When I get angry, I get quiet. Very quiet. I can't really yell or scream at people. I either kill 'em with kindness or withdraw and figure it out within myself. Or I call my sister. But people who love me know when I'm angry, because I need to be by myself for a little bit. I'm not really a confrontational person. I should be, but I'm not.
From Cheri Oteri — True or false? When you were at the White House in 2004, you said to the secretary of the interior, "I love what you've done with the place." Very True. That was another Jessica moment. People just love it when I make an ass of myself, and I do it often. Of course, I now know what the secretary of the interior does. Trust me. Do you? If not, you'll have to look it up.
Ah, there's nothing quite like a classic Jessica moment, though to be fair a lot of people probably couldn't answer that last question. As for where buffalo wings come from? That's another story. At least she's got a sense of humor about herself to go with her happy attitude these days.
Britney and her paparazzi army spent the afternoon productively, working on that tan without the harmful rays of the sun. She stopped by Sunset Tan in Hollywood to work on her orange natural bronze glow. Ignoring those heinous brown boots, the rest of the look is, dare I say, not so bad? Yesterday morning Britney and Kevin's lawyers had a surprise hearing with their judge, who I hope didn't hear about her bratty ways and if Brit's good spirits are any indication things went A-OK. The next official hearing is next week on the 26th, where Britney and Kevin should both be in attendance (first time for B), but who knows what crazy things will go on between now and then. With these two, there's certainly no use trying to guess.
Cruz has clearly become Posh's sidekick these days while the other boys are busy in school. This time he decided to leave his bag of toys at home. He didn't however, forget his hot shades. We would expect nothing less from the little guy considering who his famous mommy is. We wonder if Cruz is missing his brothers while they're at school as he runs errands all day. His special mother son bonding time will soon end when Victoria hits the road with the Spice Girls. Luckily, the boys are still bound to have tons of fun with David.
Lindsay left her life in Utah far behind when she came back to LA over the weekend and got right back into her Cali life — shopping, tanning, stopping by Ken Paves to get that blonde touched up, you know how it is. LL spent her day filming Dare to Love Me at Millennium Dance Studio and then bounced off to the salon, ever present cigarette in tow. Oddly enough, the newest drama in LL's life isn't coming from her old friends, in fact it's still coming from that new man of hers, Riley. His ex-fiancée Bree didn't hold out her story for too long; in fact, she gabbed right away to the National Enquirer. She's rightfully angry and ready to say some nasty things about Lindsay, Riley, and her fake (CZ) engagement ring. Ouch. Maybe Riley's cleaned up and all that, but blech, is it so bad to hope he's out of the picture soon?
