Britney Spears was in a great mood yesterday in her favorite pink wig at a gas station in Malibu. For the most part it was a usual day of driving, coffee and bailing on casting calls. This time the hopeful dancers at Millennium Dance Studio were able to audition but they did not get to meet Ms Brit. She skipped out on the event however, in a smarter move, Britney turned herself in to get her picture, fingerprints and other information taken as a result of the charges against her for the hit and run from September. Apparently she was at the police station for 45 minutes and her papers say she's a healthy 5'5" and 125 pounds. Another step closer to growing up. Now if only Britney could ditch the wig.
The Sex and the City movie is done filming already? The cast was seen giving each other their goodbyes after supposedly filming their last scene in NYC on Friday. Though, knowing how much they like to mess with us, for all we know they're just getting started. Feels like just yesterday we were reacquainting ourselves with Carrie and Big. This movie is definitely something to get excited for in the Spring, but SJP's got another big project in the works. She is teaming up with Amy Sherman-Palladino (of Gilmore Girls) to star in an adaptation of The Late Bloomer's Revolution. So...up next can she reprise her role in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun? Just a thought.
The fact that Violet is casually playing with a $20 bill in her stroller, while mom Jennifer Garner pushes her along the streets of Manhattan is hilarious. I mean it's not like Jen is letting Violet brazenly rip up hundreds, just funny. Also, a reminder that this one-year-old is totally rich. Maybe she should use that cash to buy her doll some clothes — give that baby some decency! Heh. Tonight is Ben's big Boston premiere of Gone Baby Gone so either his two best girls got some NYC park time in before heading north or he's making the trip alone. He's definitely seen his movie a hundred times by now, but the hometown premiere is a big one. That being said, he'll probably be listening to the Red Sox playoff game in one ear the whole time.
Kate Moss changed up her look for her sexy photoshoot to show off her Christmas collection, and in real life she's mixing it up too. She debuted her new hairstyle in London over the weekend with her stylist James Brown on her arm. Kate can pretty much do anything and look fab in our eyes, but Bella wants to know which haircut do you like best on Kate?
Christina Applegate got herself a fancy updo to head into Regis and Kelly to promote her new TV show Samantha Who. Considering she is often the best part of whatever project she works on, I have high hopes that she'll add some awesome female-lead funny into primetime TV. On the show Christina plays a girl who wakes up after a car crash not remembering anything, only to learn that she was a pretty nasty person beforehand. Christina talked to Access Hollywood about her show, and playing the good girl/bad girl role. She said:
Via the flashbacks on the show, you get to play both good and bad.
She was pretty awful but I love getting to play bad Sam, it is a lot of fun. It is a different hair, different voice, different walk, it’s a different behavior. It’s a lot of fun in the middle of the week to be able to switch gears and do something different.

It would be nice (knocks on wood). I really do like this show. I get to watch the cuts before they go off and I’m really proud of what everyone is doing. [Pilots are so hard]. You try to get all this information into 22 minutes, but the rest of them? Now we get these characters and you get to see them flourish and live. It’s quite good if I say so myself.
