It was another quiet one at Cirque Lodge for Lindsay after her mom denied rumors that she would be leaving rehab this weekend. According to Michael Lohan, however, he will be taking his daughter out of rehab for a little bonding time this week. The two reconciled last month when he visited Cirque and staged a nice little rose garden photo op. Michael, a recovering addict himself, told the NY Daily News that the two of them will be taking a trip somewhere else in Utah for a few days. Here's what he had to say:
"I'm looking forward to spending the next week with her," he said. "We've been in constant phone contact. She's in a great, great place now. I've never heard her so honest, contrite and focused.
"Lindsay is weeding out all the bad. She's taking a step back and reevaluating her life. What she tells - her honesty and openness - has brought me to tears. It's beyond words how proud I am of her."
While something about Michael Lohan will always creep me out, hopefully he really is a good influence on Lindsay these days. Maybe she'll even be able to show her dad all of her new outdoor adventure skills.
Brad and Angelina took their whole clan of cuties out on the town in NYC this weekend. We've been eating up all the Jolie-Pitt sightings lately, but seeing the whole family together is always a special treat. Maddox lead the pack as usual, while Shiloh and Z look like they have matching black and white outfits. The kids are all growing up so fast. Even Shiloh is looking more animated each time we see her - and for once - we're getting a peek at those teeth. So cute!
Kingston looked absolutely adorable out around London this weekend with his parents in his favorite True Religion jeans and fancy Burberry shirt. Just another weekend in the life of Kingston Rossdale: International Superstar. As usual, Gwen made a statement with her (plaid! Zig zags!) looks, while Kingston opted for more understated outfits — love his hoodie and sneakers. Gavin is never hotter than when he's got his little man in his arms. Kingston is definitely the reigning king of celebrity baby clothes, but he and Suri should totally get together while they're both overseas and dish over their shared love of Burberry sometime.
George Clooney left his girlfriend behind (yay) while he was working double duty on two of his upcoming movies this weekend. On Saturday he spent the day working on Burn After Reading, and on Sunday he was back in his 1920s gear on the set of Leatherheads. Since the movie hits theaters in December, there is always cause for concern with reshoots this late in the game but then again, his buddy Matt Damon did a ton for Bourne and look how well that turned out. Either way, we all know that America just can't resist Clooney so his charm alone will probably be enough to sell those movie tickets.
Marcia Cross took a break from filming Desperate Housewives this week to take her adorable girls, Eden and Savannah, for a walk with their nannies. The girls are back on Wisteria Lane tonight and between Edie's suicide attempt, Lynette's cancer battle and Gabrielle's tryst with Carlos we can't wait to see what happens.
