Kate & Ryder were looking like twinsies with their matching hairstyles yesterday in NYC. The mother and son were enjoying the beautiful day at Chelsea Pier. They even spent some time making goofy faces in a photo booth. It's so crazy to look at Kate and can't help but see the mirror image of Goldie in her 20s. Crazy how that works, isn't it?
The biggest thing on my docket this week was the real start of Fall TV. We welcomed back old favorites which made us laugh — like The Office, excited — like Heroes, angry — like Grey's, and at times sad — like Ugly Betty. We also officially fell in love with some new TV — like Chuck. Oh, and I've totally given into the guilty pleasure and fabulous clothing that is Gossip Girl. Now if only I could figure out my TiVo schedule. Sigh, I totally have a life. Here's what else went down:
Justin Timberlake led the pack of young Hollywood voters at the Declare Yourself event in Beverly Hills last night. Hayden isn't wasting any time as a new voter and Kristen Bell continued to show the love by supporting her new Heroes co-star. Not to be left out amidst all the blondies, Rumer Willis debuted her new platinum hairstyle. Apparently her parents love her new look, but what do you think — tell Bella if you love it or hate it?
The Kingdom: Comes Too Late We’ve been talking a lot about the onset of the fall movie season. Gone are the hot days of summer and with them the never-ending sequels, gross-out Judd Apatow comedies and big-budget action films. And as the weather gets cooler, suddenly some of the movies get smarter.
I may not really get why Drew is so very into Justin Long these days (and really, who cares if I get it or not), but they look absolutely smitten with each other — taking their make out sessions all over LA. So I guess that means the PDA portion of their courtship is still in full swing? These two have been spending a lot of time together these days, but at least if they ever have to be apart judging from his computer affiliations, they'll always have Justin/Jessica style iChat to keep them close.
Britney and Paris Advertise with Magic and Feathers Both Britney and Paris are just weeks away from launching their new fragrances. Can you contain yourself? Yeah, so can I. Still, I think it's entertaining to see how these two present themselves in ads. For Believe, Brit has apparently learned how to hold a perfume bottle with only one finger. And for Can Can, Paris is fairly feathered.
Kristin Cavallari went for a coffee run in LA, mixing elements of glamour with punk rock. She spiced up her jeans and white tank with a black fringe vest, her go-to Alexander Wang studded duffel bag, and some nude Brian Atwood pumps.
