Los Angeles got a little more rugged last night with the premiere of Into the Wild. Sean Penn showed off his directorial project and looked pretty proud of his leading man Emile Hirsch. Meanwhile, hey sass muffin Robin Wright Penn! Vince Vaughn has laid pretty low since Owen Wilson's suicide attempt, but came out last night for the red carpet of his movie and, of course, was immediately asked about his buddy. Vince had only encouraging things to say, "Yeah, he's doing terrific. Everything's going well with that." While we can't wait to see Owen back with a smile on his face, it's excellent to hear that he is doing well. My girl Buzz had a chance to sit down and chat with quirky Emile about making this intense film - check back tomorrow morning to hear all about it (and later in the week for her review).

The moment we've been waiting for - the return of Carrie Bradshaw! Sarah Jessica Parker was officially back to work (in some seriously SatC-worthy shoes) with Chris Noth yesterday. Looking at Carrie and Mr. Big gaze into each others eyes again makes us so excited to find out what has happened to the ladies of our beloved show. Of course, we can't wait to find out about their men too, especially since they've all signed on for the film. We all know it wouldn't be Sex and the City without some killer clothes, so what do you think about SJP's first ensemble, love it or hate it?

So much for seeing more clearly with those specs on. Even after being publicly chastised by a judge for being a "habitual" drug/alcohol user, even after being ordered to take bi-weekly random drug tests and attend parenting classes with Kevin, Britney was out at the clubs yesterday, hitting up both Winston's and Hyde before calling it a night. Ugh. Sigh. One last hurrah? Maybe she didn't drink? At least she was wearing pants? Sadly, things are looking pretty bleak for Brit.

This week's Us Weekly cover story doesn't help; it talks about how the boys take days to get back on any sort of schedule after their time with mom and how she doesn't know how to take care of them. That's the last kind of press she needs right now. Hopefully (and I know we've been saying this for months) she'll get some help, advice, anything from her family and friends. We all know she needs it. Justin to the rescue? JT is on Oprah today and, for the first time, opened up about Britney's situation. Stay tuned for more on that.

Last night GQ held its 50th anniversary in NYC, but Kanye stole the magazine's thunder by celebrating his victory of officially outselling 50 Cent's album by over 250,000 copies. Lots of celebrities were there to congratulate Mr. West, including Jay-Z and Diddy. Of course, Kanye had no problem celebrating his success and boasting "To be a champion, you've got to take out a champion." He took to the stage with a huge smile on his face, and as cocky as we all know Kanye can be, it's nice to see him looking happier after his little outburst after the VMAs.
