Owen Wilson showed off that famous smile driving around LA with a friend yesterday. While it's been great to see him relaxing and taking some time to himself over the past few weeks, I must admit that finally seeing a big smile on his face just brings one to mine. Still, I doubt that Owen will be in NYC for the Friday premiere of his new film, The Darjeeling Limited. The show must go on, however, and Wes Anderson is ready to defend his decision despite the fact that Owen's character in the film may have recently attempted suicide. Wes said about delaying the premiere, "That’s not what I want and not what Owen wants. Owen’s very happy we’re releasing it now." Considering how close those two are, I'm sure Wes knows exactly what Owen wants/needs and hopefully that smile will be back on the screen and red carpet soon.
George Clooney and his (oh we can't believe we have to keep saying it), girlfriend Sarah Larson continued to prove a little motorcycle accident isn't going to keep these two from dressing up and enjoying a night out on the town. Of course, if you are a Vegas nightclub cocktail waitress who gets picked up by America's sexiest and most popular bachelor, you better be smiling at all times. Yes, it seems as if my jealous streak has come out but it's time to expose Sarah Larson. We'll let you read the trash rag yourself and see the pictures from her past. We can't blame Sarah for her permagrin even on crutches considering she is clearly one of the luckiest girls in the world (well, next to Luciana).
David Beckham rushed through LAX yesterday on his way back home to England to be by his father's side. According to The Sun, Dad Beckham suffered a heart attack yesterday at only 59 years old. So sad. Victoria recently set off to Japan to promote her new line of cosmetics, but I'm sure she'll be by David's side ASAP. While it's always fun to gawk at Becks' crazy manjoyment-ness, these pictures and story just makes all my thoughts and well wishes go out to their family. Hopefully big Beckham will have a speedy and full recovery.
Lindsay Lohan may be getting sober, but some things never change. The recovering starlet flashed the paparazzi her favorite peace sign gesture the other day in her best 80's attire. Apparently, LL is still enjoying rehab so much that she's not ready to leave this weekend after all. In an e-mail to Access Hollywood, Dina wrote that Lindsay is staying in Utah. Hopefully, this won't make her want to rebel against her mother, but we're thinking Lindsay is realizing rehab is a good thing.
Mary-Louise Parker and her newly-adopted baby girl went together to go pick up MLP's older son, William Atticus, at nursery school in New York City yesterday. Pretty freaking precious if you ask me. Though we don't know the little girl's name yet (or even what country she was born in), the most important thing is to see how natural she looks in her new mom's arms. MLP may play a well-intentioned but ultimately messed up mother on Weeds, but in real life she looks like a perfectly caring, loving (and gainfully employed) momma. Love her.
