As expected, the girls of The Hills were first in line at last night's opening party for the new LA Intermix store. The lighting at the party was pretty odd, casting kind of a weird vibe on all the pictures. Also around to sip cocktails amidst the luxury wares was Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Molly Sims, Rebecca Gayheart and Kanye West (of course). I'm sure he was humble and modest the whoooole time. Absent from the festivities was out and proud about the plastic surgery Heidi - did anyone else feel a little tiny bit bad for her when jerkwad Spencer told her his parents didn't even know she was engaged? Just saying. Also, I love LC's fashion and facial expressions. Were you paying attention to The Hills this week? I only got one right on Geek's quiz (sad face) — how well can you do?

Rachel Bilson and Thurman Murman spent their Sunday afternoon hitting up the flea market in West Hollywood with a friend. It looks like they walked out empty handed, but enjoyed the sunny weather after an abnormally rainy LA weekend. On Monday night we got the first peek at Chuck - and I must say not only did I thoroughly enjoy the premiere, but it got me even more excited for Rachel's guest spot on the show. Plus, she's gotta be excited to be playing a love interest for another scruffy geeky hottie.
Earlier this week Kate Hudson was in Boston running with her co-star Dane Cook and yesterday she was in NYC with her main man Ryder. The twosome went for a coffee run (ya know, the usual) during the sunny city day. The actress recently took on the role of director (where she cast her "dad" Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning and her new boyfriend Dax Shepard). The premiere for her short Glamour magazine movie called, Cutlass will be October 9th in LA. For those of us not attending the premiere or in the hometown of the stories where the film were based and will be screened, we'll get to check out the flick on Glamour's website soon.

While one may point out she wears a lot of black, 'tis true, but so do other icons such as Kate Moss and Diana Vreeland. Black is one of the truest colors of fashion, and as every woman knows, it's slimming too.
Brad Pitt snuck out the side door of Maddox's school after dropping him off yesterday morning. It would seem that the Jolie-Pitts have a new strategy of getting Mad to and from his classes, not without the help of school officials themselves. According to the NY Observer, the Lycée Français' Director of Operations sent out a notice to all the parents in the school to explain what security measures were in place to help with the Maddox-mania and asking certain parents who were seen snapping photos/asking for autographs of the famous family to stop. The paparazzi aren't going to leave the family alone, but hopefully their fellow families at school can respect little Maddox and his parents. The story also says that Mad freaked out when he was asked to bring in a picture of himself to his kindergarten class - oh no.
While the rumors of the Jolie-Pitts expanding their family with another kid seem to be untrue for now, TMZ is saying that they have adopted...a pit bull puppy. Sooo, sooo cute, though I kinda hope it's not true. They already have their hands full with so many young kids and all the traveling - I doubt that they really want to add a puppy to the mix.
Update:Brad's rep told TMZ the adorable little pup belongs to Brad's longtime make-up artist (kinda hilarious in and of itself), not the Jolie-Pitts.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter which she wore with denim leggings and over-the-knee brown boots.
