Owen Wilson has been keeping a low profile since being hospitalized, but the film industry continues on. Matthew McConaughey stepped up to take over his role in Tropic Thunder, and The Darjeeling Limited will hit theaters next week whether or not Owen is ready to promote the film or attend the premieres. Once again he teamed up with Wes Anderson for the film, and the close-knit buddies sat down with Men's Vogue to talk about collaborating their efforts and the friendship they've formed over the years. Owen said,

"People say that I am the one with the heart or something, and Wes is the intellectual. But I think that's all pretty much bullshit. Everything we did, we did together. Of course, Wes was the only one who could type, so he always got to put a kind of final edit on it. But, like, a writer said that the glib stuff was more me and the soulful stuff was Wes, and that wasn't accurate. Wes is capable of coming up with silly stuff just as I was. The main thing was finding the same thing funny and getting it on the page."
These two have a long history as college buddies and writing partners as well as much in common like both being middle children. Clearly Wes is very supportive of Owen and vice-versa. Owen seems to be doing well and like Wes said, he'll talk when he's ready to so we'll sit tight until then.

Tara Reid is keeping herself covered up and classy(ish) looking in London for their fashion week. Her casual shopping look is actually, wait for it, tasteful - Fab even rewarded her with a celebrity style. That's probably a first. On the red carpet she went more glamorous and while I wouldn't choose a dress embellished with a silver snake - at least this fashion risk is better than some of her past decisions. New leaf turned over for real this time? I'm not holding my breath, but hopefully.

Drew was out of her pirate attire and back in her jeans while running errands in LA the other day. The cast of He's Just Not That Into You has been hard at work, but Drew and Justin Long have been spending even more time together off the set. It sounds like their Vegas make-out sessions aren't staying in Vegas - apparently they took their lovefest to Texas last weekend at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Who knows how serious these two really are since we know Drew likes to keep her options open but it seems she has decided for now she is just that into Justin.

Diddy threw a party to celebrate the release of his newest fragrance, Unforgivable Woman, at the House of Unforgivable in NYC last night. The very racy ads for the fragrance already caused a bit of a stink - check them out here (you know, kinda NSFW) - but there's no such thing as bad publicity. Beyonce was around for the soiree, looking sort of unrecognizable - do you like her new look? Unfortunately, B's man Jay-Z wasn't around for the party. He's probably too busy cranking out that crazy new concept album he decided to rush out. He is so never retiring, but no complaints here. Love me some Jay-Z. Now Diddy on the other hand, perhaps he should stick to making scents rather than albums. Just saying.

CBS' Monday Night line up celebrated their season premiere in LA last night with some legen - wait for it and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the next part is - dary TV stars. Obvious favorites here, How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan are always a delight - and probably a riot. Meanwhile, Rules of Attraction's Oliver Hudson has seen better days (like, on Dawson's), but he's still looking good. Monday night provides one of the toughest TV tradeoffs of the fall season (I know, I'm super cool). Thank god for Tivo. The shows premiere this Monday.
